maybe you let it happened to yourself and now you're blaming God?
did you just believe in God because you want good things to happened to you?
did you remember to thank him for other blessings, you can see, breath, walk, hear did you praise him for that?

God let the Holocaust happen to show other people how cruel some people can be and to never let something like that happen again. If the Holocaust had never happened discrimination and crueltly of other ethnics could be happening all the time today; the world today could be very cruel without that lesson. War is a lesson also.....You need to read the Bible and come connected with God, maybe he's trying to teach you but never question Gods greatness he is the Creator and in everything that has happened to you you have built up your anger and not faced it.God is doing this so you will come to Him and find Him in the end. Read this and think about it. Read the Bible and you will find forgiveness and mercy.

I believe Job had many of these same types of things happen to him. However, he remained faithful to God. Additionally, your logic is fallacious. ie. "if there was a God, would the holocaust have happened....?" God granted choice to each and every one of us. Unfortunately, Hitler made the wrong choice. You say, "my faith has done nothing for me over the last year and a half." Over the last year and a half, what have you done for your faith? James tells us that faith without works is dead. Have you been out there trying to fulfill the great commission? Have you been feeding the poor? Are you God's called according to His purposes? And, how about that diabetes? Most adult onset diabetes is caused from too much sugar consumption. Did God make you do that? Did you have any early warnings that you refused to heed? You can choose to turn your back on God, but that won't mean He doesn't exist. It will only mean that you are separated from Him, and unless you repent and turn back to God, you will spend eternity separated from Him.

I'm sorry that you feel God has let us all down . but he hasn't, you mentioned all those bad things and you're forgetting that it is not Gods job to come down and rescue us everytime we have a problem . Sometimes God will give us obstacles and we just have to overcome . That's a part of living sweetie . And I'm sorry to hear about your loved ones passing . But death is also apart of life and its up to Him, not us when that happens. Don't lose faith . Always keep your head up. When one door closes another opens. Maybe you're just so busy being angry at God that you're forgetting about all the good He brings . Like Life and Hope . It's because of God some people even make it through the day.

I'm sorry to hear that you are having such a rough time with life and your decision on whether or not to believe in God. All I can say is, as humans we cannot understand the complexity with which God controls our lives and the matters of the world. He doesn't cause bad things to happen to us, he allows them as tests and trials of our faith. You are supposed to learn something from all of this. What it is, I don't know, nobody does. You don't have to donate to anybody to believe in God, so I think you're wrong in that assumption.

Do me a favour and disregard the above comments along the lines of "Do you thank Him for the fact that he blessed you with the ability to walk/talk/eat/live?" Even if he exists (which is unlikely looking at the evidence) he created YOU, not the other way around, so why should you be grateful? As I said: live your life; if you want to believe in God, do, but don't feel pressured to, and don't despair if you've lost your faith. Trust me, you don't need it.

Oh my. I feel bad for your misfortune.
I do also feel bad that you have the whole concept of God backwards. It's not what He can do for you (which is abundant and miraculous) but how YOU can serve HIM.
God has never promised that bad things would not happen if you follow Him....He did promise, however, that He would be there to hold us when things do go bad.
Bad things happen because in the very beginning Adam and Eve fell out of God's good graces and that is when sin was introduced into the world....not by the hand of God, but at the hand of man.
Jesus can release you of your sin and your anger and bitterness if you let Him. He loves you!!!
I will pray that He will reveal Himself to you and that you will have an open and seeking heart for HIm!
I pray the best for you!

People believe in God for many reasons, most of which are selfish. For the churches, all the way back to the men who wrote the Bible, money and power were a huge part of it, the Bible was used by those in power to control others. These days, it's still the same. Individual followers are sold a cheap bill of goods. They want to live forever, they want the good things that they think it will bring, they are afraid to accept life on its own terms, especially when it comes to things like hardship and death. Some just enjoy feeling superior to others, believing that they are "saved", and therefore special in some very important way. That's what they are being sold, it's a game and the only way to win is not to play.
There is going to be good and bad in life, whether you believe in God or not, but I choose not to because I don't want to live a lie. I'm sorry you're going through a bad patch, but don't let that serve as an excuse for not believing in God - the Christian god has never been depicted as a deity that cares about the little guy. You don't need a reason not to believe, the simple fact that the existence of God has not been proven should be enough.

Im sorry man, but you have lost your faith... when people die, its cause there time runs out, god wanted them to die, not to burden you. but so they can be with him. dont you see if you where ever a christan to start with you would know that all christans must have faith.. your sole lives for ever, so now your doubting god for somthing that has happend in the past year ??..
... I hate reading things like this, and Im sorry to tell you.. no matter how much you think god isnt real, heaven and hell is still there, I hope you change your mind and ill see you in heaven.
please, keep your head high and re-think.. if you didnt have god in your life, all of that would have happend still. and you would have had nothing to turn to, now you have turned your back on god ? the one who (if you trust in) will always be there?
Im sorry, and sad to see one more sole get lost .

you know what when people have bad things happen to them they go blaming god, what happens when something good happens they dont remember hes there and think its becoz of there own achievements... things happen to me and i still love god with all my heart, i believe that he has bigger and better plans for me so i dont doubt god.. if you read the whole chapter of job in the bible, you see everything he endured but did he give up on god NO and if i was the person that donated i wouldnt mind if it wasnt proved at least god knows and sees everything so my friend dont doubt god coz your letting the devil in and he does more damage then anyone could imagine....

Sounds like you were a "said Christian" (you said you were a Christian, but when the going got rough, you got out.). Go back and read the Bible. Start with the part where God tosses Adam and Eve out of the Garden. This world is not controlled by God. It is a fallen world, full of disease, hate, and immorality, controlled by mankind.
