It seems that it is becoming more popular to be more fake about emotions involving attraction, love and romance. What is with this recent trend of being witty over being romantic. The term "casanova" seems to be prevalent in todays society. This is a time where if you were to recite Neruda or Lorca in your twenties your supposedly just trying to be a casanova and get laid, yet there are a lot of people who actually believe in poetry and romance , why is it that a moronic rapper talking about "my baby or my bu" is considered romantic when it has no poetic value, yet for some reason in society being able to talk in a slang vernacular and act like a "player" is cool, and then woman say they don't like players , yet romantics and players are two very different types, what is funny is that woman are not avoiding players they are accidently avoiding the true romantics they seek and they find a player again because this society of full of cynical realist who can't believe in romance

Its because of the heppie free love crap. I mean nice idea, but were dealing with what happens when you try to make sex, meaningless, free, unimportant. When you destroy sex or better when you turn love making into sex, you destroy romance. It no longer means anything, you can have it with anyone. When in all reality the mind is develop to make love happen with only one person, its part of pair bonding. But ether way those hippies thought it was romantic to have "free love" or better to make sex a free and innocent thing. Now were paying for that ideal. Its become to much of a innocent, everyone sould do it, its just pussie how could it hurt anyone attitude. And leave it to the rappers to bring it to the biggest extreme. But this carefree, nothing matters but our love crap, destoried love! Its suppose to be so intense words can't descripe it, its suppose to be so special and beyond who has the biggest cock or the hottest tites, but unfornatunely when you make sex a pride thing, well stuff like this happens.... they might of said free love, but all they met was pride fing......
