I do this all the time:
cut a banana lengthwise and then cut it in half (so that you have four pieces, each with a flat side). Then spread peanut butter on the flat side and enjoy. It's super yummy, in fact, I want one right now. I also do that with apples.
mmmm... peanut butter.
:)

Hi !!!
Good idea...Here is a similiar one to make...
Frozen Banana on a Stick
6 firm bananas
12 popsicle sticks
1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
Chopped nuts or crunch cereal
6 tablespoons peanut butter
Cut bananas in half at the midpoint and place popsicle stick in each banana. Mix peanut butter and milk mixture until smooth. Roll the bananas in peanut butter and milk mixture, then in crunchy mixture. Cover with plastic and freeze. Makes 12 servings.
--------OR...
Chocolate Covered Bananas
Bananas on a Stick!
6 medium bananas
1 cup chocolate chips
2 Tbls. margarine
12 wooden popsicle sticks
1/2 cup finely ground pecans
Peel the bananas and cut in half. Insert a wooden stick into the small end and place on waxed paper-lined cookie sheet. Freeze for 2 or 3 hours, or until hard.
In the top of a double boiler over simmering water, melt the chocolate chips and margarine, stirring until smooth.
Dip the frozen bananas into the chocolate and roll in the pecans. Freeze until the chocolate is hard.
Serve or wrap in plastic wrap and freeze until serving.
Preparation Time: Serves: 12

Sounds yummy. How about peanut butter covered bananas dipped in chocolate and frozen. The best of both worlds!

people on here are saying that the PB is not going to hold so well or that the PB isn't going to freeze properly. I think they may be right. I was thinking that maybe you could make good old fashioned chocolate covered PB balls, the recipe is all over the internet, but when rolling the PB mixture before dipping it in the chocolate you could but a small chunk of banana inside. They wouldn't keep very long but I bet they would hit the spot!

sound alright but he peanut butter doesnt hold onto the banana so well sometimes. also as it defrost it slides off the banana really quickly. i have tried it. BUT what does work is covering the banan in a thin layer of peanut butter THEN in chocolate. it taste great. sometimes we get creative and sprinkle nuts on the chocolate too

I too love peanut butter, however, I do not believe you can freeze it. I would go with the chocolate.
