As a man in my mid 30's, I'm not sure that we ever truly mature; however, I think it is safe to say that there is no true age when the maturing process takes place for all men. I believe that true maturity comes from life experience, not from age. Different men experience different stages of maturity at different times in their life due to many factors. Some men get married quickly out of high school. Others wait until much later in their lives. Some men become fathers at a young age, while some decide to postpone fatherhood until they are financially stable.
I think that male maturity can best be developed after the following events have occurred:
1) Experience of a true heartbreak
2) Experience of a true love and marriage
3) The thought process and decision to have a child
4) Mapping out a life plan with realistic financial goals
5) Ability to establish a career
NONE of this is possible when the man's parents, caretaker, girlfriend, wife, siblings, and/or friends don't help create a lifestyle which promotes maturity, growth, and independence.

Physically matures around the age of 10 - 13, but emotionally. That may, as everyone else had stated, never happen. Some do, some don't. The ones that do can mature at any age after 10. It all depends on life experiences and the way they were raised.

It really depends on the individual and the depth and breadth of his life experiences. If he has been carried around on a feather pillow by his mommie then prepare yourself for someone who will mature around the 12th of never. On the other hand if he has been given and accepted responsibilities and is able to admit his mistakes while remaining able to laugh at himself - he's probably there. Probably the best and most succinct definition of the maturity of a man can be found in Rudyard Kipling's peom "If". Please read it if you are not familiar with it. Unfortunately many men are like a piece of fruit maturing - all they do is age. And don't ever mistake age for maturity as the two have almost nothing to do with one another. If you really want to see how mature a man is - go to dinner with him and see how he treats the waiter/waitress - or see how he treats a pet dog or cat. Most important of all - see how he treats you. It should be with dignity and respect and it should never waiver - if he gets angry with you or belittles you - there is no maturity.

Most men marry before they are mature (mature being that they consider nurturing or leading their family the number one priority). Because the "pet peeve" of a man is that he teach a son(s) sports, his peak time is around 35 years of age. This is because he would be 45 years of age when a son plays little league baseball or some other sport, which would mean that a man still had some of his sports capabilities. Such a relationship with his son (and increasingly, with a daughter) nails down maturity for most men.

Most men mature around the age of 25. And this is coming from a man.
And always remember that we are at least 4 years behind in terms of maturity.

Oh gosh that's the funniest thing I heard all day! LMAO needed that thanks so much! Seriously, about 75% never do, but they are really good at killing bugs n stuff. But don't misunderstand, there are mature guys after about the age of...25ish I guess. Just a little harder to come across, and most will admit it themselves so this isn't being hateful or anything. Oh, but if you meant physically then I guess around 15-18ish. Even though they don't know what to do yet. Ha ha

When he's ready and not a minute before. My brother did it at 25 and my uncle did it at 57. Men only "mature" when it's the right time in their life and nothing you can do can speed it up.
