I know it's tough, but if you boyfriend isn't there for you, he isn't much of a boyfriend. Is this a new thing? If you've been together for 4 years and this is all the sudden something is really really wrong and I hate to say this but you probably won't like what it is. He's either not interested anymore or he found someone else and he is too cowardly to tell you the truth.
Move on and find someone who will treat you right. You obviously know you deserve better than this, go find it!

Wow! When I first started reading your question, I thought this was a short lived relationship until I got to the end and it said 4 YEAR RELATIONSHIP! I would have suspected that spending four years together, he would have had some decency to tell you how he feels about the relationship and if it is not working out. I am so sorry sweetie but some guys can be jerks. Unless he is in the hospital, or had a life and death situation or died, he has no excuse for such a harsh behavior towards you. I suggest you go to his house and see him face to face and ask him why he couldn't just tell you he wants to break up. If anything you do deserve the truth and at least some closure. This will eat up at you if you don't talk to him like "what went wrong?" "maybe I should've talk to him.." etc
Move on girl. You are right. You are worth more than this piece..

Tried calling him up at his place? Any chance that he lost his phone? Make sure that excuses like those can't be made, and then move on. Although it would also be better if you can find out what, really, is going on that he can't seem to give you a reply. Once you've found the reason behind it and can't stand to forgive him or understand him.. Leave. Otherwise, think hard before you decide, because we can make mistakes when we don't know everything important about the matter and regret later on. Nobody regrets before acting. Only after the act is done and when the consequences follow. Ball's in your court.

First off, make sure that he has the phone or internet and received your messages if you can.
Also, make sure there isn't a family emergency or accident, something that would prevent him from contacting you.
I have just gone through the same thing. If you want to have face-to-face closure then go to him and do it. You can also write a letter to him and mail it.
You are not harsh. You do deserve better. I would move on.

4 YEARS!!! oh honey, I am so sorry, i'm in a 3 year relationship and I can feel the pain you must be feeling. I would go to his house and confront him face to face. If he really doesn't love you then shame on him. Maybe this will be good for you and if he isn't the one, you will find him. Just be strong.

It can't have been THAT great of a relationship, if all this is going on via text message. People who have a good relationship and know how to communicate, do it face to face or via phone at the least.
Sounds like things have run their course.

you need to leave him a messege saying how you feel and that its the last chance
make a point that if he dosent respond and try to save the relationship tha tmeans he dosent want it
or thiers not point in a relationship that the person dosent want to make it work
if hes treating you like that
he dosent deserve you anyways
if he really loves you he wont let things go bad between you

He sounds flakey. He wants you to dump him so he does not have to be the bad guy. Don't even bother telling him it's over. Just move on. He's a pussy who won't do what he needs to. I bet he handles his whole life in the same way.
