Refering to my other question most christians said that we choose hell and god does not send us there. In the case of a person born into another religion and raised in a non-christian nation does that mean even though he was not taught it he goes to hell?
What about children who are non-christian? Do they go to hell too?

Good job at pointing out one of the many flaws of Christianity.

I do not believe that children go to hell. They are not old enough to make a decision one way or another.

Matthew 18:10-Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, that in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is heaven.

There are a lot of scriptures referring to God's love for children. As for those raised without religion or the opportunity for hearing the gospel, I can't see where it's directly approached, but I don't think that a person would be condemned if they have never in their life heard of Jesus. But in this day and age that's not very likely. On this very website there are constant complaints that christians won't leave people alone.

Man is born into sin :period. Not a religion. That is a choice.

We choose our ways and commitments.Free will. Obedience gets you to the love of God. Disobedience, sends you where he said you will go if hell so be it. The word of God does not lie. Can we change any ones destiny? God is all seeing and all knowing...can the pot say to the potter why have you made me so? God reaches the heart of any be it few or many anywhere and anyplace. Do you have a question about his choice? We certainly make our choice even when we know better. God is sovereign. and a lot of humans act like they are too. God is omnipresent! he knows each and everyone of us..he created us all-good or bad. Matthew 12:43-45. Restless spirit. Then he gets worse, more spirits enter in worse than what he was. His present state is worse than his last. Children are considered offspring of their fathers and so,that is Gods choice..Does anyone have a choice. The old testament? Did God spare women or children of the his enemy? No,what makes you think he has changed? Matthew 10:28. The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom.

Children belong to God until the age of accountability. Children never go to hell, not even a change. All children go to heaven no matter what religion they are born into. Christianity is a relationship with God rather than religion.

The choosing part comes after the age that you are accountable.

If they have never heard the gospel of Jesus Christ how can they choose hell? As far as children go, there is an age of accountability (12) when there minds can comphrend the gospel . I don't personal believe God would send a child to hell though. There is nothing closer to heaven than a child(sure there are a few exceptions haha) but seriously i believe God is meriful to the ignorant but not to the ones that just choose to deny him.

You are not born into religion. this is a common misconception. You must choose to follow a religious faith. Just because your parents were Muslim does not mean that you must be, and it is the same with Christianity. just because your parents were Christians does not mean you have to be. You must choose to be, or choose not to be, no matter where you were born, or what the predominant religion is in that country. It is still your choice. You may choose to follow the faith of your family because it is easier, because you believe it, or because you fear that you may be killed by the state for not following the state religion, and it is easier to just do as you are told, but this is still a choice that you make. No one can make it for you. This is what they mean by "You CHOOSE Hell, and God doesn't send you there, you send yourself there".

Hope this helps...

Nobody is "born" into another religion. They are born into another culture, and they learn of religion from that culture. However, each person will be afforded the opportunity to know Jesus, at some point in their life, maybe by way of a missionary, or by some other heretofore unspoken method. They can decide, Yea or Nay. That is the moment when they choose to be in Hell or with God.

I'm a Christian and I personally believe that only God can decide in the end. I think it has more to do with being a good person that choosing a particular religion.

There is no right there is no wrong religion. There is spirituality and that is for ever one. This idea that there is just one way is incorrect. There are more ways to God/Dog/He/She/Life than can be counted. I don't know about you but some of the worst individuals I have ever met have religion as a cloak about themselves with absolutely no understanding of Life itself. Try this, substitute the word Life for God, it might open your eyes. Also, we all create our own hells, as much as we are all gods in training. Enjoy the adventure and the experiance, cause that is what you are here for.

Most Christians no longer believe, if you believe, choose, or are brought up learning another religion, that you'll be sent to hell. They believe that as long as you accept Jesus Christ as your Savior you won't go to hell, but will instead go to heaven.

Nobody is "born" into a religion. They are born into a culture, often one that favors a particular religion. Children "born" into Christian homes are not going to heaven, either. It is an intellectual choice that you make.
Children who die before the age of accountability are not destined for hell, nor are intellectually challenged people.
