A couple of things.
Even if he is smaller than a yorkshire terrier (they're pretty small) there is no recognized miniature in the breed.
If he was sold as a miniature, you may have gotten the "runt". He could have health problems or just be small.
He is probably panting from stress, but you should make sure the vet listens to his heart at a well-puppy exam. It is certainly possible that a small puppy has a murmur.
He may not want to eat, but you may want to keep some nutrocal on hand to keep his blood sugar up. The small ones have issues with this.
He should have already had one shot when he came to you. If not, do it ASAP. If it has, get the second three weeks after the first or ask your vet.
Do not let your vet vaccinate for corona or lepto.
Unless you have mice or live on a dairy farm, these vaccines can cause way more harm than they can do good.
Good luck with your new baby.

When you bring your new bundle (congratulations!!) to the Vet, he/she will check his heart. Panting can mean many things! It can be a heart problem, it could be that he is warm, it could mean that he is stressed, or it can mean that he ran around and played and is now pooped!!!
Dogs have the ability to sweat, but in places that are a little different from humans. Dogs sweat through their pads and feet. Their skin and armpit areas don't contain sweat glands like ours do. Their main method of ridding themselves from heat, however, is by panting, which is a very different mechanism than what we generally use... so it very well could be that he is warm!
To be on the safe side make sure your Vet does check his heart well.
As far as vaccines, here are the recommendations:
* 8 weeks: DHLPP/C #1 (distemper, protects upper resp.), Bordatella (kennel cough, I would only get this vaccine if you plan on going to places where you do not know the vaccine history of the other dogs- daycare, puppy classes, grooming, dog parks, etc.), and Lyme #1 (depending on the area) and bring a fecal sample!!
* 12 weeks: DHLPP/C #2, Lyme #2, Rabies (most Vets will make Rabies a 1 year vaccine the first year and then it will become a 3 year and will only need to be boosted every 3 years).
* 16 weeks: DHLPP/C #3, Lyme #3
At his big one year exam it is highly recommended that you have a heartworm check (bloodtest). Also, please keep your little one on heartworm prevention year-round (Heartguard, Interceptor).

He good be nervous about his new surroundings, and miss his family. Hence not being interested in the food. And, he may be hot. They do have a lot of hair. However, it is always necessary to take a new dog to the vet as soon as possible for a thorough check-up. The vet will let you know when your dog should have his first shots. Make sure the food is the same kind as he had in his original home.
I believe the first shots are given about now.

First of all no such thing as a miniture yorkie. That is really just a scam to get you to pay more money, same as teacup yorkie. The breeder should have gaven his first set of shots, call a breeder and your vet, and relax poor thing is probally so scared.

If you just brought him home he may not eat because he is not used to his new environment. Give him a couple of days and he should start to eat. Vaccinations should begin at 6 weeks, then 9 weeks, then 12 weeks, and lastly 16 weeks.

This is all new to him, he is under stress. Just keep him quiet, he needs to be calm. If this keeps up call your vet. A new puppy should be checked out by a vet when you first get them. Congrats on your new baby! Best of luck;^)
