Why do you think this is true? I guess it would depend on the pastor, since Most pentecostals are preaching about the Holy Spirit...

Not always but in a lot of cases, Pentecostals dwell on the old Testament "an eye for an eye" mentality or "To fear God is to obey God".
Not to offend anyone, and not saying that all Pentecostals fit this category, but some people just have to be motivated by fear in order to "follow the rules". The devil and potential to go to hell motivate some people, so much so that they remind themselves and many people around them constantly that "the devil is always about trying to do bad things".
A higher understanding of spirituality focuses on the relationships we have in our everyday lives and the understanding of how the new testament affect us. Also The Golden Rule, the Beatitudes . . . so on and so forth.

I don't mean this specifically againt Pentecostals (because I expect that is a stereotype), but pretty much ANYONE who is obsessed with the devil is so because it is easier to blame the diabolical one for all your problems than it is to accept responsibility for the wrongs of the world and motivate yourself to make it better. Being that we are all capable of being the best people we can be, even if the devil is real, he is irrelevant, because we are still responsible for our own actions.

Spiritual warfare is real. You don't have to be Pentecostal to know its not a friendly game of patty-cake. In fact, many denominations stay vigilant to activity that rumbles and disrupts the flow of God's Holy Spirit to the ones saved. The enemy will not bother those that are in bondage to sin or any other idol of this world (including themselves). The enemy will harrass those that are now under the care of God. But God will not allow the enemy to torment His people beyond what they can handle. By His blood, Jesus reclaimed dominion over the devil and his minions, and gave us an opportunity to relish in this victory and power over them also. The awareness of the devil's ways only are apparent to those that surrender and repent to Jesus. To the others, the enemy makes it really comfortable for them to stay on his team.

Evil spirits, ghosts, plagues, goblins, goals, witches, and devils are all part of the stories used to keep kids in line and control the masses. Pentecostals seem to take all these things seriously instead of the real things in live. Superstition is much more important than the real world.

We are not obsessed with the devil. Pentecostals know the power that is in Jesus' Name and we are not afraid of the devil and he knows that.

Sometimes people are secretly fascinated by the forbidden or what is hidden. They probably find it thrilling and trick themselves into thinking that they're helping people. It's so easy to become unbalanced on these issues. If you are wanting to go to church, I would look for a congregation that is focused more on how to live in the light of the resurrection, who put their minds on good things and who are encouraged to use their gifts well.

You mean the Pentecostal holy rolers, they are the ultimate religious fanatics out there today, they are so obsessed with the devil that they cannot tell the difference between God or the devil, and they still call them selves Christians.

All Christians are obsessed with devil. It's the basis of their belief system. Duality... god or devil, black or white, light or darkness. Nothing in btw, nothing around, nothing at all, just duality. Narrow-minded people with narrow-minded viewpoints and a bundle of hallucinations....
