Visit the site below. It's from McDonald's. This is their nutrition index. Stay away from anything high in fat.
The Honey Mustard Snack Wrap™ with Grilled Chicken is the best thing off their regular menu. It has the least amount of calories, fat, for the amount of food you get (oz).
STAY away from ANYTHING fried!
The following salads are what I would recommend: Southwest Salad with Grilled Chicken & Asian Salad with Grilled Chicken. Stick with any of the low-fat dressings, however the Newman's Own® Low Fat Balsamic Vinaigrette is the best for you.
Fruit 'n Yogurt Parfait are not really that great cause it has 21 grams of sugar, however it beats most other sweets out there. 1 a week won't kill you for a treat if you've been really strict to your diet.
Drinks: stick w/ water, or milk for some extra protein. Once a week, a SMALL Powerade is ok if you really need some thing sweet. However, I would mix half water & half powerade. Powerade has 27 grams of sugar in a small, half would be 13 or 14 grams.
Good luck

You would think that the salads are your best choices, but if you check their website most salads (with chicken) have over 300 calories, except for the Bacon Ranch Salad with Grilled Chicken (260 calories) and the Caesar Salad with Grilled Chicken (220 calories).
But if you're like me and can't stand the sight of salads, I would recommend the Ranch Snack Wrap™ with Grilled Chicken (270 calories) or the Honey Mustard Snack Wrap™ with Grilled Chicken (260 calories).
Surprisingly, the plain hamburger (no cheese or extra beef) only has 250 calories.
Check the McDonald's website for more information: http://www.mcdonalds.com/app_controller.nutrition.index1.html
Good luck!

Don't bother! McDonald's food (including their salads) is loading with sugar and other nasties (such as preservatives) that aren't good for anyone who wants to lose weight (or anyone in general). You need to cleanse your body of these toxic elements. If you're on a diet, don't give into the "temptation" of eating ANY fast food. Try finding a healthier place to eat that uses organic food!

why go to McDonalds when you're on a diet?? If you're on the Atkins diet, they actually have stuff for that or they used to. Otherwise, get a salad and a water...or a diet coke if you want pop. Personally, I'd suggest going for a sub or something for the diet factor but hey, to each his own.

Yikes. Well, the salads are no good, although they claim to be healthy, they have just as many calories and you're hungry later. McDonalds would be the place you'd go on Friday to have a single with cheese after a successful week of dieting.

Garden Salad. I believe it is most of the salad. The dressing you should not use a whole packet. Maybe, half.
I will say the Grilled Chicken.

If your on a diet you should stay as far away from mcdonalds as possible. With that temptation it usually leads to something bad. I know from experience. If you look on the mcdonalds website for a calorie chart you will find out everything is horrible for you.

Here's a link for the nutritional info on all their foods.
The grilled chicken sandwich isn't too terrible on calories and fat grams. Some of the salads are higher fat than the burgers!!
