I lost my husband recently...I would give the world to have him back. I loved him endlessly and we worked through some tough times to achieve this wonderful and mutual love together.
I can't imagine any one in the world, I would rather be with, than him. This is, a most hypothetical question however...if life could be sustained on the island, he would be the one I would continue to want by my side, from now until forever.
Unfortunately, I no longer have the option of having him around at all.
Love is a foundation to build on, to grow together with - without it, life is relatively meaningles, at least, to me...It sounds to me, like you don't know about that kind of love...perhaps someday, you will.

Well, I have been married to the same man for fifteen years now, and yes, he might drive me insane, but thank God it is an island, we would just give eachother space and do our own thing like we do at home.
No, I could not make it through being there with him, alone because he is my rock and my protector and I lean on him for EVERYTHING!!!
I talk to my husband about everything, we are soulmates and I keep nothing from him.
He knows all of my skeletons in my closets and I know his, that is why we are soulmates.
Like I said, thank God for the island, if we got on eachother nervs, then we would just give eachother space like we do at home.
I think that my husband and I would have a wonderful second honeymoon and not want to leave!

Well if the gender role was reversed, right off the bat I'll tell you as man stranded on a deserted island...without a doubt... I'd prefer if Julia Lewis Dryfus-"Elaine" from "Synfield" would be my companion of choice because not only is she sexy and beautiful but she's funny as hell and wouldn't bore me one bit. Hmmmm? Now that would be nice. I think I can sacrifice an occasional rib-eye steak dinner for a stationary coconut diet for the rest of my life to spend eternity on an island with a goofy hot chick like Elaine.

At least I'd be warm at night and I wouldn't be attacked by any animals as his snoring will scare them off. He can climb trees I can't so that would be nice. He'd have to do everything his way, so of course we'd be stranded longer than we really needed to be... He'd probably starve as he is the pickiest eater in the world.
But yes, I think he would drive me insane. I in turn would frustrate the piss out of him. It would be just like at home...

I think it would be awesome if my fiance and I were stranded together on an island! We watch survivorman all the time, so we would be very good at making it on our own. Plus my fiance is super hilarious, and very caring...so not only would he entertain me on our island, he would also make sure I was well taken care of. We would keep each other sane.

If i was stranded on a deserted island i would want my man there. I would feel safer, i would enjoy having his company, i just love him and couldn't think of a better person to be stranded on a deserted island with.

this is such a good question!!! its fun to think about!
i dont have a man but if i did, i would definately want to be stranded on an island with him (helloooo...eternal honeymoon!) havent you seen that one movie with whats his name where he gets stranded on an island by himself and talks to a volleyball??? i wouldnt want to do that! now it depends who your talking to because if hes an idiot, id rather be alone!
now, the guy im thinking about....if we were stranded on an island, i think we probably wouldnt talk much except to like explore the island and try to find cool new stuff. we would probably be like the kids on the movie "the blue lagoon". we would try to make stuff, cook, and go swimming, and of course try to find ways to get saved, but i think we would have a good time being together. im not a hard person to get along with and the guy im thinking of isnt either. in fact hes alot of fun to be with-hes always happy!

it would be so perfect, my husband and me on a island?? wow!!! We would drive eachother crazy being without our kid, and wondering where he's at or what he's doing
