Last Thursday, completely ignored by the world’s media, Hamas thugs opened fire on a peace demonstration, killing two people.

Imagine the sustained outrage that would pour out of the media if Israel had done something like this. But Hamas murders peaceful demonstrators, and it doesn’t even rate a footnote in the wire service reports.

Before noon, two civilians were killed during a protest held in Gaza City under the banner “Stop the Killing.” Some 1,000 Palestinians marched in the city, calling for an end to the fighting, but when they approached a Hamas position, militants fired at the protesters, killing two.

But how is this news? Hamas has a stated purpose of killing anyone who stands in the way of their policy of genocide. The fact that they fired on their own "people" is just more of the same.

Of course, in the eyes of the mainstream media, no Palestinian (especially if they're with Hamas) can do anything wrong. That's why it passed with a whimper of cowardice, rather than a roar of universal public outrage.

First of all, I wish Mr Abbas good luck with his new government, & a peaceful solution to create a state(country) to live side by side with Israel. As for Hamas, with all due respects: poor devils!.

Hamas is listed as a terrorist organization. I'm not surprised at all. They also executed people that they didn't like. Their cause could mean an end to the possibility of a Palestinian state. Like I stated, I'm not surprised one bit.

not surprising that they would act like Israel. selective outrage is not a good trait.
