Funny enough Mrs Fisher, I did have a heart attack a couple of months ago and I've been really good since. This was sheer indulgent therapy.
You're right chefgrille, truck stops are the best!!!

That is a 10 out of a possible 10, I live in Amsterdam so the
'works' as I can get them in the UK aren't really available here.
But your description takes me back to the days I did some serious hiking in the Highlands ( Glencoe a.o ) and the Cornish
coast path. Very often I'd get out of my tent in the morning,
initial breakfast just hot coffee and lots of sugar.
Pack up camp, put on Backpack and search for a place that
served the dogs b*llocks, stuff myself and walk for the rest of the day. If you're ever there gorge yourself on the Jacked Potatoes at the Clachaigg inn at Glencoe.
There is a variety of heavy greasy cholesterolly stuff they ladle
over it, gorgeous after a long slog.
A few pints, a roaring fireplace .........heaven!!.
4.50 is great value for money by the way.

Beans???For breakfast?? That is bad. It's for sure that you will be good the rest of the day. You are too full to move, and the beans will keep all other temptations at a safe distance:)

Gotta love truck stops, what a deal! Yes, it is good to be bad sometimes. Just have a light dinner. Unless you're like my husband and can eat forever and not gain weight! :)
