I met this girl on saturday night at a party, and we talked for an hour straight. I got her number and I text her today, but her reply was cold (meaning she gave me a bitchy response). What did i do wrong? did i wait too long?

There is a number of things that might have happened, and not all of them could be you. Perhaps you did wait too long, perhaps you caught her in a bad mood, perhaps the night you met her she was trying to make someone else jealous. Or maybe that is just the way she is. You may never know what happened, but remember that anything could be the problem. You might not have done anything at all.

who can say, perhaps she gave you a number but then had second thoughts, she might just have been in a bad mood, you may have left it too late or been overly friendly or familiar with the txt, perhaps she is having problems somwehere else and is diverting that on to you. Unless you txt her again you won't know, but I wouldn't reccomend it, you'll come off as some kind of stalker. I say leave it and move on, if she has been bitchy before she even been out with you, its not worth a lot

Why did you text her? She was probably all exited about meeting you, told all her friends about you and then you wait two days later to contact her and when you do ... you text her. Come on! Girls like it when guys call them the next day. I would try calling her and see what happens. Tell her that you wanted to talk to her, but that texting her at that point in time was the best option. Good luck!

It does not sound like you did anything wrong. In fact, you did a great thing by making contact at all, some guys wait 3 or 4 days to make contact. Perhaps she just changed her mind, don't read too much into it, if she likes you perhaps she will reach out.

If we knew what you said to her and what she said back it would be easier to tell! However if you want to keep that private that is understandable! I know what its like to find a guy you seem to have connected with then the next day you both werent right for eachother... it happens! maybe she isnt right for you, if you arent getting a good vibe from her then i would say forget about her, there are better girls out there for you!!

as per your additional information, you move on really fast... FYI girls dont like to hear that sort of thing, like if you move on fast than girls dont mean much to you.... not a good thing dude

Yea I would say so, Today is Tuesday and it's not cool to wait 3 days anymore. The girl probably wanted to know that you couldn't stop thinking about her and that you couldn't wait to talk to her but instead you waited 3 days and you sent a text instead of calling.

well from a psychology perspective i would need more info to help but from experience i would say your choices are

1. One night stand (aka you were just he falloff boy)
2. Shes in a time of the month (just wait and be patience)
3. She didn't like something about you/something you said
4. She is just a flirt?

hope this helps

Usually the people you meet at parties are not there to find someone for a long term relationship or any relationship at all. If she was drunk on saturday she could feel embarassed.

No. You did nothing wrong. Some people are just unpredictable that way. Others just like to play the game. Don't beat yourself over the head. Go find someone more honest about her feelings.

She's a woman. You've got a better chance building a 6 lane highway to Hawaii than trying to understand them.
