No. I need a milion dollars and someone to give me my Phd. in Psychology, so I think I'm on the opposite end of you buddy, where your mom and bro are. I do sometimes feel like a hero with no super powers though...

Yea.. Like i'm at the age when people are working and saving lotsa money but I cant because I have to serve military service and given a mediocre sum of money.. Its hard to save and even provide any help to the family.. Sometimes I just envy my female counterparts who are earning ard 2k a month and can do so much more...

You can always help. You haven't told us how old you are or your brother's age. But even if you're a little kid, you can always help your parents just by picking up after yourself. Financially, you could mow lawns or even ask people around you about taking up a trade. There are still older people out there that would love to be able to teach their trade to a nice, polite young person, and pay you for it. Don't limit yourself. Tell your mother that you would like to help. If you are sincere, she may even have some ideas of her own, but just hasn't felt like you cared.

It's always important to help others, but the life you lead is YOURS and only YOU are responsible for your own life. Make sure you can hold yourself up before thinking about holding others up. A chair only hurts the seated individual when it's missing one leg. Observe, learn, and make yourself stronger. Then come back to assume the role as mentor and hero. Good luck.

You and me have same situation.
I have my insight for this matter even if I feel so shameless and guilty to be useless to my most important lady in my life, my mother.
Empowering ourselves today is like helping her in the future. No one blames us if our life makes us like that right? so we must boost ourselves to be best we can.
What to do?
Struggling for life: Get A in exam can be a great gift to pay back our mothers' gratitude.
Incompetent for financial support? give her the mental support:
Be a good boy, be away from bad things that society hates.
Be a good brother, be a good example for him
Be a good student, go to school , get the high result.
Be a good person, do not make yourself into trouble
try to go to University, and have a strong goal...
Overall, Making your mother feel proud of you is what you can do now.
Example: I graduated from high school with Straight A's as a valedictorian, I passed 2 different scholarship, I am the winner of 3 different Writing Contests. Those things make my mother and brother feel so proud and they feel elated..They occassionally tell me that without my financial help to them, they still feel happier and happier ever...so I promise to keep it up for them till the day I can have good job and make today's uselessness to become usefulness in the future....
Good luck..I talk too much here

You have a good heart and someday you will be able to do all the helpful things you want to. There are lots of us in the world that would love nothing more than to give, but we just don't have the money or time.
