What do guys think about taller women?

Question

Not gigantically tall of course....imagine you meet someone blonde, funny, out-going and genrally happy would you be put off if she was about 4 inch's taller than you?

Do guys really think girls who are taller than them are sick?

I'm 5ft 9, the guy I'm dating is 5ft 5

I would definately be put off if she was 6'5.

I'm 6 feet 5 inches tall, so if you are 4 inches taler than I am that'll be a first for me. That would actually be gigantically tall. Now a woman that is around 5 feet 11 inches tall, or better yet, 6 feet even wearing stelettos is just sexy. I love tall women. I guess because I'm tall, and it's so rare to find a woman who is as well.

At 5" 2 I rarely see women shorter than me so refusing to date someone taller by even the smallest amount would right-off about 80% of the female population as completly non-dateable.
Factor in all the other parts of dating like common interests and geographical location taking height as a factor makes it all most impossible

Strange question... Yesterday I had done my shopping and was waiting for the rain to ease before making the dash across the car park and I had time to study this girl.
6 foot 2 or 3, lovely dark brown hair, well combed and not tousled, a beautiful face with full red lips over well shaped and white teeth, a swanlike neck leading to a pair of perky breasts and below them a flat stomach. a wonderful tight pair of cheeks over long firm thighs and slim calves, small well shaped feet, (I have been studying feet for years and never before seen nice ones before), then I saw her hands - like two number ten shovels with huge lumpy knuckles. If she were to sit on her hands she would fetch ducks off the water but poor girl living with hands a man wouldn't like. Although... if I were younger I would still chase after such an otherwise beauty. Sorry to witter on but it was only yesterday I saw her and if there had not been an obvious forty year gap in our ages I would have chanced my arm there and then. I'm in my seventies.

Nope, I like a good looking tall woman. As someone said usually tall women have a problem dating a man who is shorter than they are, but not always, there are some men who feel they should be with a woman who is smaller than they are.

I'm 6' tall so maybe that plays into how I feel about tall women.

I just think it comes off as a guy not being so dominate which is the natural state of nature. When a women is taller it does make most men feel less of a man because they have to (literally) look up to a women.

I'm 6ft 5 so it's never been an issue. I was always drawn towards more petite women, but on the occasions where I've met a girl close to my own height, it's actually kind of a turn-on.
Add blonde, funny,outgoing and generally happy into the equation and that sounds like a winner to me.

I'm on the shorter side for a guy (5'7) so anything taller than 5'8 gets hard for me, especially if she ever wears heels. It's not fair but what can I do i'm lucky I am this tall my parents are 5 foot even :)

You usually find shorter guys like taller woman.... don't know why, but that seems to be how it is. I think that most decent people would not be put off by such a minor issue. Be confident in what you've got.... there are so many woman who want to be tall, so flaunt it!

Of course its not sick. It would be a little odd to date a girl that was four inches taller than me (i'm 6'2") but if she was funny, blonde, outgoing, happy, and I really loved her, it wouldn't matter if she was taller than I am.

I honestly think guys like it, of course you have to have the right looks with it but it seems like girls (and guys) try to get as tall as they can possibly get. Not to mention the short rich guys with two *gigantically* tall girls on each arm. Tall is considered good and if the guy was even WORTH dating he wouldn't mind.
