So on April 19 I had a day of spotting, no period in April. May I was supposed to get my period on the 10th, no period, the doctor gave me two blood tests 2 days apart and I took 8 urine tests at home, all negative. They gave me some estrogen progesterone medication to start my period. I finally started on the 20th of May. It was very light and lasted about two days. it is now June I took two pregnancy tests last nigh, different brands, both came out positive, the only reason I took them was because by breasts are so sore I cant even touch them, and my husband was kidding with me about being pregnant. I don’t get to go to the doctor until next week but I think it was in April because when was Pregnant with my little girl I didn’t get a positive test until I was about 3 months along. So my question to you is what month do you think I conceived?

Urine tests can give you a false positive if you are on any medication for fertility that include progesterone, so it is possible that you are not pregnant. As far as how far along you are goes that is difficult to answer because so many factors can cause you to miss or have a delayed cycle. If you are pregnant the best way to determine the gestational age of your baby is through a doctor's examination. Because there is a possibility that you are already in your second trimester it is fair to request an ultrasound. If they feel it's too early for that have them try to find a fetal heartbeat, that will give you a minimum age of your pregnancy. While there have been reports of fetal heatbeats being heard at 9 weeks you usually have to be 10-12 weeks along before the first time a doppler can amplify the heart beat, so you'll know you are 10 weeks minimum if a heartbeat is found. Hope that helps. Also be sure to ask what effect, if any, the medication they put you on may have on the pregnancy.

Maybe you're not pregnant, but I bet you are. I bet you got pregnant in April. Until you know for sure, don't take any more hormones, and behave as though you are pregnant. Eat right, get some light exercise, no smoking or drinking alcohol. You can't be too careful! And I agree that you should request an ultrasound if your doc doesn't suggest it.

I am also confused.
But the main thing that caught my eye--if you have to be given medication to start your period, then there's something a little wrong there. Honestly, I have never heard of this.
When you go to the doctor, ask to have a vaginal ultrasound (or just a regular one) done. That would probably be the most accurate result.
