like if a cops friends get in trouble the cop will pull strings to get his friends out is that fair?? ? i mean we are all equal right??? So why if a cop gets in trouble the other cop turns the cheek and will let it go.

ok i had a friend get pulled over before it went in the system his cop buddy came down and talked to the sargent and the kid was let go. They can rip up a ticket if it wasn't put in the system yet

Ha Ha, that's funny "cops are held at a higher standard". Actually its quite the opposite. Like you said, a cop will turn the other cheek when it comes to arresting cops. But anyways, to your question, they do this for the same reason you would help a friend out. C'mon, we all do it. It just so happens that when cops do it, someone gets off easy. Get over it, there is nothing you can do about.

I would call it a lack of ethics. I don't believe that wearing that badge give you the right to bend the rules to how you want them to do. Everyone makes mistakes, even cops, and everyone should face the consequences for their actions.

This isn't TV where cops can just rip up tickets and unlock jailhouse doors. You didn't provide any source for this accusation. What are you talking about.

it is a professional courtesy. Unlike most people Cops can lose their jobs for simple things that many people take for granted.

I would like to say that we are all equal...but apparently as some would say...cops are held to a higher standard...

well this shouldnt be true, but it is. there is a chance they can lose their jobs over this...and can actually face criminal charges.
