And hard for many of us to understand how this could happen in our country, we also have similar cases of people watching other's be hurt, die and they do absoloutely nothing.

One case in Detroit has a man beating a 90 yr old trying to steal his car with people watching doing NADA.
Another case in Chicago pf a Man in a Bar beating a female bartender people watching doing nothing.
It is reported more people love to watch the downfall of other's than anythng else, wether it's Paris going to jail, the drawn out sad saga of Anna Nicole, people seem to be growing cold to other's how is humanity striving to be better? and don't you think this is all happening because our world is trying to throw everything godly out of exsistence?

No, I don't think God has anything to do with it. You are basically saying that atheists cause immorality, which is simplistic and untrue. I am agnostic, and I would not stand and watch someone abuse another person. I would call the police immediately, unless I was petrified of my child or myself being in immediate danger.

I like how you slipped the God card in there at the last moment, that was classic.

As a non-Christian Theist I might be inclined to agree with the idea that ANY god is better than no god in some cases, but the problem is not so simple.

Do you know the theological beliefs of the people you referred to? Would you bet money on whether they claim to be Christians or not?

Many of the shocking recent tragedies were by people claiming the One God.

No. In the Drew-King ER, you are dealing with an ingrained streak of laziness and an "it ain't my job" mentality. Many of the staff there are occupying entitlement jobs, not furthering the medical profession. That cesspool should have been shut down years ago.

This has nothing to do with religion. People have become more alienated from each other...that's true...but I think it's because so many people have become infantile in that they believe the world revolves around them. They don't bother to educate themselves; they don't bother to cultivate empathetic feelings for others; they only see things through the veil of their own predjudices. People who believe in God do this as well as people who don't.

It's a sign of the last days of this system of things. Because of the increasing of lawlessness, the love of the greater number would cool off or the love of many would grow cold.

I think it's happening because sociopaths no longer have an outlet. They used to be able to join the Crusades or the Inquisition or something, but now they have to pretend to fit into civilized society.

If I'm thinking of the same case, the bartender in Chicago was beaten by a cop, which would explain why no one did anything.

Hm, some people are mean these days. I got'a say, not a compelling argument. Some people have been mean for some time now, my crimson capped crusader.

No, and I defy you to prove that correlation.

And remember, the plural of anecdote is not data. Ditto opinion.

Yes I do!! You are very wise and obviously concerned for the "good of the world." Always keep in my that it is your job to stay right with the Lord and do the best that you can. Don't let other's ignorance get to you. Also, remember that what is going on in this world is prophecy. We are to "go down hill" as a whole before He will return. God Bless.
