If you can afford it then yes, because maybe his parents have helped you out when needed. This is a time to be happy that his parents are still together. But if you can not afford a high dollar gift, then make something for them. It is the thought that counts and having something that you both did together is even better then a high dollar gift. sure would, first of all they are his/her parents, as far as them being tightwads, its their money they know how much they can spend it may seem to you that it is not much but it may be all the can afford, and why would you not want your spouse to spend what he/she wants to on his/her parents

it actually depends on wether u have the money or not if u can afford it and its somethin meaningful sure but if u cant afford it and it'll make you 2 struggle than it really wouldn't be worth it.
