You really should cook fresh fish the day you bought it to ensure freshness. I live in Florida and we never hold our fish over until the next day. You want to cook it when it's the freshest possible or you could end up with that fishy smell that means old fish.

in the fridge i would say un cooked 3 days cooked 5. frozen 2 weeks max.

If it is fresh 2-3 days, well wrapped in cling film.
If it is smoked, it will last a week or longer.
