What if there are experiences that weren't relevant to the job I'm pursuing? Should I include them on both my resume and job application? Do I include it on my job application, but not on my resume?

Your resume should include all relevant work and life experiences that you have had and want people to know about. Be prepared to back them up with answers as a lot of people stretch their resumes to make them appear better than they really are. Interviewers are trained to find these holes so as to disprove something so beware. All experiences are relevant as life teaches us different skills which relate to all types of job, the so called soft skills that work needs from everyone. It is up to you personally where to include and not include stuff from employers. Good luck.
