I'm making grilled cheese, and I have a can of that soup at home with me, and I always see on commercials how they eat it with the sandwich. Is it good? Can you just take part of the sandwich and dip it into the soup and it'll taste good? I don't want to waste a can of useable soup if I'm not going to eat it or drink it, whatever you do with it.

Yes-and its fun to make with my kids.
and the answerer who said comfort food
is right on.I mix the can of tomato soup
with one can milk or 1/2 & 1/2 and a
1/2 tsp sugar to break the acidity of
the tomatos and cook and we dip
our grilled cheese into it
ohe and I use texas toast for grilled cheese bread.

It's yummy! I have a friend that will only eat tomato soup if there is a grilled cheese with it!

Nothing tastes good with cambells tomato soup. Get a can of progresso tomato soup and you'd have a better lunch.

Yes, it's quite good with your standard grilled cheese.
If you're making a gourmet grilled cheese like I usually do, you need a soup like french onion.

Cheese and tomato usually go well together so go for it! Think of it this way... it will be just like squirting tomato ketchup on your cheese sandwich!! Enjoy x

It's such good comfort food and reasonably nutritious (especially if you get low sodium soup and whole wheat bread).
