someone once told me that all you can really do is "plant the seed". Live by example and pray that their hearts might soften and let God in!

Christ Jesus is of such fathomless riches, He well affords to spread it liberally. Even the unthankful (no acknowledgment of the Most High) and evil (hurtful) benefit. Not only does this stellar treatment testify of Christ's mercy and compassion for unbelievers, it leaves the unthankful with no excuse for atheist attitude. There are countless accounts throughout history where unbelievers were bailed out of disasters by Christ Jesus. Japan has been largely an un believing nation, even executed Christians for not bowing to their emporer. Yet, the Lord broke up an attack wherein Japan was surrounded by thousands of warships of Genghis Khan allied with Korea. Japan refused to surrender, and a storm was sent to thwart certain destruction. The Lord also foiled the Luftwaffe with fog and an indecisive and confused hitler to save Britain even though British government betrayed the Jews with the invalidation of the Balfour Declaration. Even though Jews are mostly haters of Christ, He saved 40,000 thousand just around the time of WW ll. The Lord also blessed Ishmael (father of islam) by making him the father of a powerful nation. The Lord blesses many senior citizens in certain countries with social benefits that essentially take complete care of them through old age.

I think matters of faith are private between a person and whatever higher powers they hold dear. I would approach matters of faith with logic and open-mindedness. Respect the faith of others and they will respect yours.

Healthy debate and social/cultural curiosity are good for the mind and the spirit. Never stop learning.

Blind devotion, discrimination, and idolatry breed ignorance and intolerance. Something no god worthy of faith would ever stand for.

Jesus told us not believe in all scripture. Jesus told us to believe only the scripture concerning him.

Jesus told us that Moses worshiped the devil, and that the Holy Mountain and the Holy city of Jerusalem where of Satan.

Jesus told us to repent, forget everything we ever heard concerning God, and learn about the true Word of God, from his Words, his Gospel. The Holy Ghost is are only teacher.

I wouldn't approach a non-believer. Why would he listen to me? If someone asks me, I will tell them, but I don't go chumming for it.

If you are setting an example of Godliness, people will approach you, and ask you questions. This is a fact. God is all-attractive. People are attracted to Godly qualities. We can see for ourselves that people are attracted to anyone who is extraordinarily wealthy, beautiful, knowledgeable, talented, famous, etc. This is because God has all qualities in full, so we are attracted to those qualities, though we should understand that just because someone is very wealthy, that doesn't mean that he is Godly. We are simply attracted to the quality.

Similarly, people are attracted to one is very compassionate, forgiving, modest, humble, loving, etc. One example is Mother Theresa. She became famous world-wide, because she had Godly qualities. Do not worry about approaching a non-believer. If you are developing Godly qualities, they will come to you. Jesus Christ attracted throngs of people. It isn't that He had to approach people. They approached Him.

By and large, skeptics have come to their conclusions about God after a lot of thought and study. Emotional reasons for believing are not likely to appeal. If you have evidence that leads you to believe, then share it with us. Otherwise, you're not likely to get the response you're hoping for.

Show them God's love, as a believer, by trying to love others.

Very carefully......people have to be ready to receive the message first. The best thing you can do is be an example of God's love and you will have that peaceful aura about you that people will notice - and hopefully question you about. When they ask, tell them about God's love then.

I would not shove the word down their throat, but as a Christian I believe we are to spead the good news of Christ to everyone we meet. I try to do this in my words, and in my actions. I try to show myself true to the fruits of the Spirit from Galatians 5:22-23 "But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such thing there is no law." When people begin to see the happiness in you, and such, they will ask.

Once they ask, do not begin with you are going to hell if....

That is one turn away. Show them what God has done in your life, how God has helped you overcome temptations, addictions, pain, etc and they can relate to that.

From there, you can show the verses about God's love, and such.

Continue to pray for the lost.

1st Timothy 4:12
"Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith, and in purity."

God bless you!

You don't. See, we live in a society where it's impolite to force your religious views onto others. Besides, all I would say was 'Been there, done that' then we'd debate, you'd get angry and say 'goddidit' and leave feeling as though you had the last word.

Don't.

Respect them and they will respect you. I hate it when people of other religions tell me I should love God and their religion is the only way to it.

I'm pagan and would never preach to anyone about it. And I don't expect it from anyone else.
