It doesn't seem right or fair. It seems greedy and selfish.

When I say "friends", I mean "loved ones", I don't care about my casual aquaintances.

I'd rather burn in hell by myself and know that they were burning in hell too, than go to heaven by myself and know that they were recieving worse treatment than I.

Because Hell is a place of darkness, fire, and torment. You will never even see your friends if you go there with them.
Rev 19:20b These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
Rev 20:10 was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, ... and shall be tormented day and night forever and ever.
I would try to get all my friends to go to heaven with me-- It would be selfish and greedy of me not to take them with me!

What kind of person are you?????????
You should care that all people don't go to hell.
That's why Christians spread the Good News, so that people will know they have Eternal Life through Jesus Christ.
Some take it as shoving our religion down their throat, but it's to let them know there is a hell and Jesus was the Ultimate Sacrafice.
If anyone ends up in hell, it's their choice.

So that i can go before God and recieve peace. If any of your friends did not know who God was then they are not in hell and if they rejected God and did it openly then they knew what they were doing, I must ask you one question, Why must you make the same desicion that they did, would they want you to go hell? Go to heaven and remember them always because if they are in hell then who will remember their memory. God loves you and he will not send anyone to hell without justification just like our law because the ethics in our law is a reflection of the law of God.

To get to heaven you'd have to worship the very being who sent your friends to eternal suffering.
We have words for people who do this on earth... the nicer ones are "sellout", "collaborator", "traitor", etc. Would you kiss Hitler's butt while youre friends are in the concentration camps?
The doctrine of hell is evil.

Well hmmm wow I really try to talk to my friends before they pass on and I just can't go to hell .. I'm not all that fond of fire and brimstone, I actually love Jesus and he did save my life so I guess he's just a better friend to me that way. I know this is kind of sarcastic but so was your question

That depends - if they were good people who lived good lives but were sent to hell because they didn't profess their love and devotion to one specific person - then I would not want to go to heaven because it is clearly not a nice place.
Alternatively, if people I knew were 'rejected" because they were bad people then I would understand.

You're gonna be too busy in hell to have friends...I think they'll become your enemies...competing for comfort that will NEVER come to you.

Because that is where God is. And just because your friends are in Hell doesn't mean that if you were there you would see them. Hell is a place of torment

honestly i wouldnt.
not to mention, there will be no free will or sin or sadness in heaven. if there is no sadness in heaven then that must mean we cannot remember our loved ones. and seeing as there is no free will and the bible says we will worship god for eternity, means we will be forced to worship the being who made us forget our loved ones, and sent some to hell..
*shrug* doesnt sound much better than hell anyway.
