My boyfriend & I are really into cooking new dinners lately. Just looking for some good ideas. Neither of us are "picky" eaters.

Pork with Linguine and Blue Cheese Mushroom Sauce

INGREDIENTS
4 ounces linguine pasta
1 tablespoon butter
1 pound pork tenderloin, cut into 1 inch medallions
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup water
1 tablespoon cornstarch

DIRECTIONS
Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
Meanwhile, melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the pork tenderloin, and cook until meat is no longer pink inside. Remove from skillet and keep warm.
Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in the same skillet over medium-high heat; stir in mushrooms and cook until tender. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Once the broth is hot, stir the blue cheese and salt until the cheese has melted.
Mix together the water and cornstarch and slowly add to the simmering broth. Cook for 1 minute until thick and clear, stirring continually. Serve over linguine and pork medallions

If you want to eat truly healthy, lose body fat consistently, normalize your blood pressure, cholesterol levels, prevent cancer, and even boost your brain health and energy levels, you may have heard all over the news that the Paleo Diet has been found to be one of the best methods of achieving all of these benefits compared to any other popular "fad" diets out there. Go here https://bitly.im/aMFwV

The truth is that the Paleo Diet will never be considered a fad because it's just simply the way that humans evolved to eat over approximately 2 million years. And eating in a similar fashion to our ancestors has been proven time and time again to offer amazing health benefits, including prevention of most diseases of civilization such as cancer, heart disease, alzheimers, and other chronic conditions that are mostly caused by poor diet and lifestyle. One of the biggest misunderstandings about the Paleo Diet is that it's a meat-eating diet, or a super low-carb diet. This is not true

If it 's a sexy dinner for two, I would keep it very simple like a steak and some kind of potato with a lot of finger food that can be eaten oh so suggestively!

Picnics on the floor in front of a fire or even while watching TV are nice too. Keep it simple with some chilled wine or cold beer and take it from there...

as noted by others...it depends alot on the mood...but a few things are, in my opinion, important. First, if you don't want alot of cleanup involved either make most of it the day before or make it very simple and sweet and as corny as it may sound...lay it out on the floor on a blanket (assuming no animals around) with candlelight and soft music and a good bootle of wine...remember the accronym K.I.S.S. which means Keep It Simple Stupid (no offense intended) Sometimes these things can be over thougt, that's all.

My favorite site for recipes is http://www.allrecipes.com
You can register for a free account which allows you to save recipes in an online recipe box. You can change measurements between U.S. and metric. You can also change the serving sizes to 2 people.
They have different categories, dinners by different meats, noodles, salads, appetizers, desserts, etc.
That is where I go when I need new ideas for dinner!
Good luck!

How about roasting one or two Cornish game hens? And serve with a curried basmati rice and veg and salad.

Any leftover hen can be made into stock for soup!

Try Salmon steaks or fillets. They are quick and easy to prepare and don't need a lot of extras to make them taste good.
Leeks, carrots and potatoes would go well with the salmon.
