If this is true, yes you should tell your dad. She has betrayed not only your father's trust, but yours as well. I understand she is your mom and all, but this is so far from Ok as heaven and hell and I am not preaching no religion, just using it as an example.

Listen, if your own mother is so low as to sleep with a person young enough to be her own child, to sleep with her own child's boyfriend, to cheat on her own husand, she needs some real mental health assistance.

I strongly encourage you to do what is right for yourself and your family. This is simply unacceptable conduct and she has to face consequences. There are always consequences for actions, good or bad and if you try to sheild her or cover for her you are betraying yourself and your father. To cover for her would make you her accomplice. Do you wish to do that? Perhaps it is so dysfuctional there, and that is not a downer or a critical comment at all, we all have dysfuction to one degree or another in or families, but perhaps if you choose you could use this as a tool to get her act together. At the very least you could now get away with murger practically as you now have some powerful weapon against her if you so choose to go that route. I hope you don't though. That would not help your own maturity or moral fiber.

You owe it to yourself, your father, your family and even your mother to tell the truth. I am sorry for this, it is horrid if true and not just a joke. I wish you the best.

It is NOT your responsibility what occurs in your parents relationship because your told the truth. That is between them and in m opinion not telling would really compound this issue and would not be fair to your father. How would you be able to look him in the eyes or continue to have a good relationship while holding that secret? Tell him and let him decide how he wants to deal with this. Plus, if you do you will probably have some support in your time of hurt and pain. At least I hope so. You know your dad better than anyone here, perhaps he would prefer to not know? It is your call.

Oh, that is bad.
1. You have to break up with your bf. It will never never get fixed.
2. If you tell your dad you might end up in the middle of their fight, what will you do if they break up? what will you do if they dont? This is a fight you shouldnt fight, it is not yours, it is between them, and if you enter it you will get hurt.

I believe you should talk to your mom about two things, one, the bf part and how this hurts you, and the other one that you feel obligated to tell your dad and that she should tell him or that you will.

Yes you should tell your dad. because that is adultery your mom just commited. and adultery is one of the 10 commandments "thou shall not commit adultery" and i think you should dump your boyfriend because you never know he might do something like this again.
