Rude? Me? You're the one who started their answer "in case you haven't noticed..."

Your writing leads one to take a defensive stance. Obviously I didn't notice anything and you, with your superior wisdom, had to point it out to me. Just gereralizing.

In case you haven't noticed every group of every kind sues over something they consider to be a conflict with the way they think, it has really gotten out of hand.

Ok, go ahead and be rude. . .sigh. Let me get picky and remind you that not "All Christians" do this. There are people who love to argue. . . .I guess you wanted the generalized answer to your generalized question.

Ya can't group Christians together this way. There are many atheists, Muslims and so on who do this too, and many Christians who don't. The concept behind forcing one's beliefs on another is narcissism. Narcissists need to believe that their view of the world is the only right one, because much of their self esteem is based on being right. Also narcissists need to be special. So they need to be right in contrast to others wrongness. And they are constantly searching for validation of their own views, "Please tell me what's in my head is the way of the universe." This has to do with improperly formed ego boundaries. They don't know where they end and the world begins. They are not comfortable with many different views. A complicated, unsure world is anxiety provoking. A simple, absolute world is reassuring. This is an unfilled childhood need for comfort and reassurance manifesting itself in adulthood.

i don't force anything. i just talk about it. it's up to you if you want to listen or not. just because you don't agree/believe in what i believe in doesn't mean I'm forcing Jesus on you. i think that's a cop-out.
