While you will see the Irish waving an Irish flag on St. Patricks Day, and Jews waving an Israeli flag on Israeli Independence Day, you see the Mexicans waving their flag practically every day, not just on Cinco de Mayo. There is a big difference in showing your pride in your background ONE day of the year vs showing disrespect for America EVERY day of the year.
The behavior of the Hispanics is this: "Hay, I am illegal, I am waving MY flag, not yours, so what are you going to do about it?" So far, we have done nothing. If we give them amnesty, we will only encourage more illegals...or shall we call them foreign invaders?

I see nothing wrong with them celebrating a holiday that is as important as Cinco de Mayo, it is a part of their heritage. As for waving the Mexican or Aztlan flags they should be shot. They are not trying to be Americans, they are an invading force under the flag of a foreign power on our soil.
I see alot of comparisons from some with Cinco de Mayo to St. Paddy Day. What the F**K, we get one DAY, only if we are really Irish. Where is White Appreciation Month, White Awareness Week, White Entertainment Television, Is the Celebration to Honor White War heros after or before the one for Fallen Latinos. OH Wait, we can't have any of these because that would be racist.
DON"T Fly the Stars and Bars in the south because it is racist, But you can invade our country under the flag of your REAL country and it is OK>

They are free to celebrate their heritage and identify themselves smart one. Just because they moved here doesn't mean they have to forget about Cinco de Mayo and celebrate 4th of July and wave American flags.

is part of their Heritage.
the Irish wave their flags in St Patrick day,
the Puerto Ricans wave their flag in the Puerto Rican Parade.
and so many people from foreign background do the same.
i think is wrong that so many people wave foreign flags in my country. PERIOD
but for some reason many people just happen to see the Mexican flag.

I speak fluent Spanish. I know and work with many illegal immigrants. They do not want to become Americans. They despise American culture.
Most are here to get what they can get and save money to later go home with it and buy a ranch or open a small business. They justify this by figuring that Americans owe them for exploiting by hiring them for lower wages.
So the ones who make out in the deal are the companies who hire them for less wages with no benefits and the illegals who get the low wages but are subsidized by the government via free healthcare, free education (costing $9000 per student per year), and in some cases welfare. This leaves middle-class Americans to pay for subsidizing the benefits they receive.

They're free to celebrate their heritage for example during holidays.. but waving Mexican flags at the Immigration May 1st protests is quite different and shows their true colors (the ones who did wave Mexican flags). They were protesting because they supposedly wanted to be here, but it didn't look like it.

That is how they screwed up with Americans. They protested America waving their flags.
I say round them all up and march them back. No planes no buses no cars. They walked here they can walk back.
Send them home NOW.

this is easy.. they don't want to be usa citizens. Look at this bill. it grants them amnesty to stay here and keep working. But to be a citizen, they have to pay a fine and return home and then come back. How many people do you know who would do this??? I can answer that.. none. I don't really care if you want to keep your roots and celebrate cinco de mayo, but don't use it as a day to protest the usa.. and don't badmouth the usa on the 4th of july..

Illegals don't want to be Americans - they want to be living and working in America, and enjoying the benefits of being Americans...
...without being hated by the rest of the word.
