My old computer was destroyed in a car accident, but I still have my ipod with the near 1000 songs from my computer. I can't put the songs on my new computer because Itunes won't allow it. Is there anyway I can get around this? Most of the songs are from CD's anyways, I just want to put more music on my Ipod, but I can't without having Itunes delete all of my other songs because it wont allow for the songs to be added on the ipod. Help!

I use SharePod, it does not require iTunes to be installed. You can transfer to/from the iPod quickly. It is a small program too (unlike iTunes).

You cant exactly put music back on our computer from your ipod. But to stop your computer from deleting all your music from your ipod, go on http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=61148 . It gives you a step by step on how to do this. Hope it helps,

there is software you can use google Ipod copy"

Do you still have the old PC? Could you get the hard drive out of it ?

If so just buy an external drive caddy fit the old hard drive(very easy)...... and away you go.
