WHY DO PEOPLE BELEiVE IN GOD?

there is alot of evidence that shows he is not real and not a whole lot that says he is real. i guess everybody needs something to believe in but why be so ignorant about it? my favorite thing to prove he is non existent is " if god created everything why are there no dinosaurs being mentioned in the bible?" and i mean that like good descriptions and not from some revised bible or a rewritten bible by some dumb church.

There is actually no evidence saying God does or does not exist. However, there is clear evidence that disproves much of the Bible, but I don't think the Bible is meant to be taken literally. There is no real harm from believing in a higher power, unless it causes the person to shut out the truth or to look down on non-believers.

Wrong, Dinosaurs are mentioned in the Bible!

Although Bible notes in many modern translations suggest these animals might be a hippo, a crocodile, an elephant, or other known animals, the Biblical descriptions defy those identifications.

The Chinese histories and legends abound with dinosaurs. But they are not called "dinosaurs." They are called "dragons." The dragon is one of the twelve animals of the Chinese zodiac. What is interesting is that all the other eleven are commonly known animals and there is no hint of 'mythology' involved with their identities. It seems as if the dragon was just a commonly known at one time. The pictures are often fantastical, but so are their stylized pictures of horses and other animals. If you have access to a good book on the history of art, you may be able to see some dragons and sea monsters painted on ancient Roman pottery. The legends abound all over the world. They do not seem to be connected to each other, but each telling of its own place. We have the story of St. George and the Dragon; there is the reference regarding Alexander the Great of his army disturbing some giant monster in a cave on their way to India. That does not prove God does not exist...it only proves the Biblical concept of God is wrong.

It does mention dinosaurs, it talks about how the angels rebelled and started fighting on earth, since angels can take any form they changed into dinosaurs and they started to scare people on earth, the christians. Everyone hated God and the christians except the family of Noah, since those people and those angels were rebellious then they were killed in a flood except the family of noah because they loved each other and God. The tidal wave that killed the dinosaurs was noahs flood. God is real and the earth is living proof of his existence forevermore, amen.

The god of the bible is a false god. The bible is a worthless book and a poor example of religion. Their is a god. This world is an illusion. I'm not promoting any religion. GOD IS NOT A RELIGION. God existed before and after any religion.
