I'm not related to our president if that's what you're implying.

Oh,more than one. I had a great-grandfather no one ever spoke of. He was a horrible man who died in a state institution for sex offenders. On another branch,a great-great grandfather who was a drunk and a wife-beater. Every family tree is like that. Just look through those collections of photos and obituaries your elderly relatives keep, compare all that to the actual tree, and it's easy to determine who has been overlooked in terms of biographical information. Then do some digging. Well! So that's how the dirty laundry gets hidden! I had great fun scandalizing my elderly "family history buff" relatives by tracking down embarrassing information. They all regret helping me get started. So far I've thoroughly documented the lives of seven utterly disgusting scoundrels. Nonetheless, they've become my personal faves - horrible, aren't I? My specialty is black sheep!!

Unfortunately a couple of not so distant relatives are really bad people that aren't worth a clump of dirt. I weeded them out and now I have a much broader sense of family, and a much happier, healthier one.

Adam was a clump of dirt before being formed and molded by G-d. it is proven in science that man has all the elements of dirt so in essence we are all dirt .ashes to ashes &dust to dust.

NO, but I'm related to a lot of people who missed opportunities to be great people. I found out that we're very distantly related to a former king of England (well over 1000 years ago).
Hmmm I wonder if Charles and Camilla will invite me over to tea sometime???

Yes, I was at Maramak Caverns in St. Louis when I first found out that I'm related to Jessee James (the famous outlaw). Before I knew that I thought, "My God this guy is bad ***" and then I was like, "Well, now at least I know where my brother gets it from".
