NeoFrehley:
“Why … such an extreme level?” - Asking Y!A = ‘extreme levels’ to you?

“you're getting yourself too worked up about it. - Y!A = ‘worked up’ to you?

“they aren't keeping you from your right to free speech” - Disallowing my opinion is disallowing free speech. When it is disallow *as* they are attacking me is even worse. And depriving me of exactly how they are attacking me is worse, yet.

“They are keeping themselves from their right...” - Agreed, but their problem.

“let them be. … don't bother with them.” - I am… I’m merely voicing opinion.

I'm with ya. I never report anything, and I don't believe in censorship. Let the words stand and let people stand by their words. Even if offensive (to me), they should stand. That way they are accountable for them. They should own them. This block user feature is being abused by people who are close minded and childish.

This is yahoo answers..... Why are you taking this to such an extreme level? Who cares if these losers block people so they don't have to think?

If these morons give themselves some kind of fulfillment or pleasure or purpose in life by posting some crap and then blocking anyone who can face a reasonable argument.... good for them...... If their lives are that meaningless that they resort to such cowardly tactics to express their own opinions while keeping others from giving their opinions who cares? I think you're getting yourself too worked up about it.

The way i see it is they aren't keeping you from your right to free speech...... They are keeping themselves from their right... their privilege to learn and expand their minds. If they want to shut themselves in so they can bolster their egos and believe that they're always right & nobody can prove them wrong (because they block people & keep them from proving them wrong) let them be. That gives their lives some kind of meaning so just move on with your life and don't bother with them.

It's not worth it. I would understand it if you were on a televised debate or something & someone told you to shut up while you were arguing a key point..... but it's Yahoo Answers we're talking about..... Who cares? Seriously!

Edit:
Worked up to me = Posting this whiney cry-baby rant about how nobody wants to hear your bulls*it so they block you. I'm about to do the same thing. Grow up and get a life. THIS IS YAHOO ANSWERS, who else besides you cares??? Put the cape & tights away & stop trying to be the Y!A Free Speech superhero!!

Exactly. If you don't want differential opinions, then why ask questions at all?

"Without free speech no search for truth is possible... no discovery of truth is useful... Better a thousandfold abuse of free speech than denial of free speech. The abuse dies in a day, but the denial slays the life of the people, and entombs the hope of the race."- Charles BRADLAUGH

I agree! Although, you shouldn't include Marxism in your title as if it were a negative. Karl Marx was a brilliant man.
