Hello,
I have been sudying psychology for four years now. I have known many cases like this one. The psychological explaination of this 'crying' because of a past event is known as PTSD. You may also have acute anxitey which is the main cause of your 'crying.' You might want to type in PTSD into google for self help, however if you think that this period of discomfort is getting worse then may i suggest seeing a psychologist. They will use therapys such as CBT ( you may also like to have a look at that on google .) Just remember this isnt for ever and there is always a light at the end of the tunnel no matter how long it is. Just HALF (Just have a litttle faith) all good things come to those who wait.
Best of luck

First of all, although it is difficult, BREATHE. When in a panic attack you do not breathe normally. Breathe in for 6 seconds and out for 3.

Find something to ground yourself with, counting objects like books or tiles, or feel where you sit or lay and try to figure out what the texture is.

Remind yourselves that that happened in the past- you are safe now, even though it feels real it is not and it is ok for you to be scared.

Panic attacks come in waves and the first inital panic is not as bad as the others, but we normally panic ABOUT a panic attack, and the following waves get bigger and worse.

Easier said then done. But you have to train yourself to quit thinking negatively. Every negative thought that comes to mind you need to shun it immediately and not entertain the thought at all. Try to find only positive things to think about. And i bet if you think about that right now, nothing comes to mind.. So you gotta practice. But if you are looking for just another drug.. Try xanax. It will help you immediately. But you need to train your brain to think differently or you will always suffer from anxiety.
