Atheists come to this forum to espouse their views. Some are here to spew venom and contempt. Others simply to exchange ideas. Too many come to bait a religious person in an attempt to ridicule their beliefs. Others are simply 'me too' posters with little to say, an inadequate vocabulary to state something meaningful, or a propensity for any public display which might cater to their otherwise lonely existence.

Me ... I'm a Christian here to state my mind then move on. I don't come looking for trouble but if that's what an atheist seeks I'm happy to assume the identity of 'Trouble' and place myself at their service.

However, mine is only to plant a seed and move on and I'm not looking to change the world -- atheist or otherwise.

If you don't want insignificant answers you really need to take more care with your questions Hun! No one has more right to be here than anyone else. All Points of View are valid and the spellchecker is just above the little box on the right.

I think it makes no difference if you have religion or dont have a religion to come to the religion forum. People with Religion have questions and like to help out with answers just as the non believers like to know that there are people out there just like them they can relate to. Religion can be debatable and its good to have views from both groups non believers and belivers. I think the people your talking about are the inmature people that are just here to get on peoples nerves.....and those kind are in every forrum...unfortunatley

So, you address the question to us by saying "it is to argue YOUR point", which I assume means you are refering to us Atheists and Agnostics, yet you don't want us to answer. Oh yeah, that makes a lot of sense.

Also, get it right. I believe in religion, considering how atrocities have been commited due to it, how could I not? I don't believe in the main figure of your religion, your god.

"or is it pure and utter ignorants? and if your a non believer dont pollute my question with your insignificant answers"

The irony here is just too funny...

I mean, aside from the wanton disregard for spelling and grammar, the whole idea of "I want to know why they come here but I don't want THEM to answer me" is hilarious.

The catagory is also spirituality. Religions very often ignore and/or challenge the spirituality of the individual. Spirituality could be what draws many to dialogue and see where God truly resides...the heart or the church.

Child, you have a lot to learn--a little humility goes a long way. There are atheists here who are generally genuinely nice people as well as "Christians" who are not. Everyone is significant in the eyes od God. (Although I sometimes wonder about the trolls---JK)

everyone has the right to argue their point. it's just when people start antagonizing others, whether they have a religion or not, that probably causes your frustration.
