Since God, by definition, is the creator of the whole universe, he is the creator of time. Therefore He is not limited by the time dimension He created, so has no beginning in time God is the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity (Isaiah 57:15).

The first moment of time is the moment of God's creative act and of creation's simultaneous coming to be. Because we live in the dimension of time, it is impossible for us to fully understand anything that does not have a beginning and an end.

There are many questions that can be asked, but most like this one probably cant be answered. We are not even sure about creation when why or how so we do not need to tarry with this question til those others are answers. It seems to me that when these questions where answered with unwavering absolutes in the old days have left a war for us all to fight today. The battle over creation is used as a money raising gimmick for churches everywhere while others with little religion use it to show the superiority. I think it gives a lot of people an excuse of not looking up things for themselves and dooming others to a narrow minded view of the world. I hope i have not confused the question but when this universe started some 16 billion years ago no man of earth existed nor did the earth so why is creation so big of an issue anyway.

god senior. oh ok, then who created god senior? ah! and who created him? alright what about the guy before him, who created that dude too?... do you see what im getting at. someone mentioned that we will never know and that such questions are not meant to be answered. interestingly enough, as soon as you say the word "meant" that directly implies a governing body who says what is meant and not meant. who are you talking about? god? humanity? i believe that science will keep getting closer and closer to the answer but we will never completely get there. the big bang theory makes the most sense to me and has proof. and then other questions will need to be answered, its a vicious cycle, enough to make a man go mad. why did the big bang happen? how did the materials for the big bang get there? where they always there? is there a begining and end to everything? someting interesting about god, our brains are wired to believe in SOMETHING. i saw an article a while back about the mind and scientists concluded that humans' brains are actually wired to believe in something, not necessarily god but just for spiritual development. one more thing. there are different dimensions in space. scientists disagree on how many there are. there is much thought that "god" may reside there. could heaven be on another dimension? could death bring you to a certain dimension? could there be a "good" and "bad" dimension (heaven and hell)? are there different levels of heaven and hell (maximum security prison hell, minimum security hell)? there are so many questions. with each answer found, more questions are asked and seemingly impossible answers are therefore sought after. i have so much more to say but i really don't have the time. i apologize for the rambling and spelling errors but i'm just typing like if i was talking directly to you and i'm not reading all that lol.

peace

God is not a creation. He is outside and beyond creation. At the same time, He is within and throughout all of creation. With God, you have to think super (above) naturally. Outside of the box.

You god is too small if you think otherwise.

God isn't a creation, therefore He doesn't have a creator.

God is the word used for the creation, as in the universe, reality, so it in itself is not a creation.

He is the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning & the End.
He is the Trinity. The Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

I used to wonder that question too. I finally came to the conculsion that certain questions in this life we are not meant to understand and after our death, we will find the answers we have been looking for.

God says in His holy book, the Bible, that He is the alpha and omega, the beginning and the end. He has no beginning, so He didn't have a Creator. We can't understand it, just accept it. Check out www.3abn.org for good stuff!
