Usually there are two rings, the engagement ring and the Wedding band. They usually come together in a set. She wears the engagement ring during the engagement then you add the wedding band to it at the wedding.

You give her the engagement ring when you propose, and she wears it until the wedding day. You buy a separate wedding band for the wedding day (or you can use the engagement ring, it depends on the couple), and the best man / maid of honor holds onto the rings during the ceremony until the priest asks for the rings. The priest will then bless the ring and preside over the exchange of rings.

She wears the engagement ring so people know she's engaged to be married. Then on the wedding day the priest can hold the wedding bands or your best man can hold them & give them to you on the alter when the priest directs him to. OR you could have a cute little ring bearer!! A little boy from family or friend to walk down the aisle holding a pillow w/ the rings tied to it. (Lots of ppl use fake rings tho, incase the child loosed them!) You can pretty much do whatever you want these days!!! CONGRATS ON YOUR ENGAGEMEN!!!!

There are two rings: the engagement ring and the wedding band. She keeps the engagement ring. Before the wedding ceremony you give the wedding band (hers and yours) to the best man who gives them to the priest at the ceremony. The priest blesses them and gives hers to you and yours to her. You take turns putting the rings on each other.

Unless you are proposing with the wedding band she gets to keep the engagement ring. The best man usually holds the wedding bands at the actual ceremony.

The "girl" keeps the engagement ring. The wedding ring is for the marriage ceremony.

Plus I would hope that you would be marrying a woman and not a girl.

If you are giving her an engagement ring, you give it to her when you propose. For the wedding, you two will give your rings to someone to hold during the ceremony, then they will be put on your fingers.

She wears the engagement ring all the time. You keep the wedding band until the wedding, then your best man holds on to it until you give it to the priest to bless, then put it on her finger.

You give her the ring and she wears it.

Before the wedding, she can have the rings soldered together, then you put them on her finger as a set....or she puts the engagement ring on her RIGHT hand for the ceremony, thenm after you place the wedding band, she moves the ring to her left hand.

The best man handles the rings.
