no you can't do that. the child still needs her primary home and the bills still need to be paid there, like electric, water, etc.

The mother's basic expenses for keeping a home for the child continue throughout the year - rent/mortgage, electricity, gas, insurance, taxes, etc., so it's not likely that it will be abated entirely.

My husband's parenting agreement allowed him to pay half the amount of child support in July and August when his daughter was with us, though. It was written into the agreement that way.

I would imagine that your husband would have to bring it to mediation or court to make any changes.

If the child is living with YOU, then you should be able to get a hold on the child support. Child support is for the child, not the ex-wife or whatever. You'll probably need to contact an attorney to get it done, though. Good luck!

Yeah if he wants to go to jail! What you need to do is go the courts and tell them whats going on and then after the summer you will have to go back. Cause he wouldnt have majority custody so It will be tough to get out of paying

Is the mom willing to allow this? Talking to her might work? I'd contact your lawyer, obviously you had one if there was a divorce.
