best treatment for receeding hairline (male)?

Hi, im 17 n have got receeding hairlines that is very apparant. I heard about nioxin but others say its quite useless. Can any1 give me advice on what to buy that will help me with my receeding hairlines? if there are any salon workers or professionals please give some adivice. all help will be greatly appreicated!!!! thanks!!!
