I upgraded to Windows Vista so far I like it. However it acts a lot like Norton it or I have to give Vista to run a program and etc! Is there a way to disable that?

That is one anoying feature of vista. You can shut it off by going to Control Panel\User Accounts and Family Safety\User Accounts then click the link that says "turn user acount control on or off. Then just uncheck the box and hit ok. You will have to restart for any affects to take place. It will stop bugging you for every little thing.

you should have done your home work on vista before wasting your money on buying it,,, Vista is full of bugs, and will be for the next 7 years... ms as not got XP right and thats been out for 7yrs..

if you like Vista then try out linux it puts Vista to shame. and linux comes free... so do some research on Linux

In the search bar of your browser type >>
Dell+linux
HP+linux

by the way Vista as a support web site so ask there after all you paid a high price to use it

that's called the UAC. Go into your start menu and in that search bar type in UAC.. a little ways down the list that will pop up it will tell you how to disable UAC.

Disable it and you're good to go :)
