My pics of my cat always show glowing or red eyes - even if she is not looking into the camera. I have tried no flash, red eye reduction, 3 different cameras, etc. and nothing seems to work for me. Any suggestions?

If you use a longer lens with a flash it will help reduce the glow. Their eyes reflect the light so the further away from them that you are, the less reflection you will get from your flash. Outside portraits with no flash are the only other thing to tell you to try. When all else fails...use red-eye removal in your computer program. Some cat's eyes reflect alot no matter what you do.

Try outdoors in daylight, or on a very bright windowsill. It picks up all the details and you get the true eye color.

First, get a cat not possessed by Satan.
