i suppose theoretically you're right IF YOU think that ants are good to eat~~~ but realistically...i would buy some new honey & let the ants have their treat as well.

There are probably other problems if the ants got into the honey. There might also be eggs. And also not all ants can be eaten.
Plus it would probably taste gross.

Strain the ants out
heat and thin the honey
Ants also have health problems for humans
remember only certian ants are used for eating

Although I don't doubt your logic one bit, if your honey is infested with ants, then I'd either scoop them out, wash off the container and place in a container they can't infiltrate, or toss the stuff out!
