Aprihop by Dogfish Head brewery. So yummy and not too sweet. Tastes like an IPA with just an aftertaste of apricot. It is expensive ($10 for a 4 pack), though it has a high ABV (I think 13%). Dogfish is out of Delaware and I can get it in Michigan, so I don't think availability should be an issue.

If you're in PA, the first brewery that comes to mind is Victory. Their best are the Old Horizontal, Storm King Imperial Stout, and probably the Braumeister Harvest Pils.
Others in the area include Three Floyds in Munster, IN. If you can find beers from this brewery, buy them. The Dark Lords, Alpha King, Behemoth Barleywine, Dreadnaught Imperial IPA, Precious Oatmeal. One of the best breweries in the world, bar none.
If you can find Michigan beers, look for Bells or Founder's beers. Bells Oberon is a summer favorite around here. I typically stick with wheats and ales for outdoor summer beers, but overall my preferences don't vary that much by season.

There are 2 beers that are super for the summer season time. the 1st is Bell's Oberon. this is probable the final summer season beer. the 2d could be Blue Moon. the two are particularly relaxing with an orange wedge.

A good wheat beer like lienenkugels sunset wheat, or blue moon, or even sam adams summer ale can't beat when you need a good thirst quencher with some good flavor.
