If you can do it with Jesus next to you and know for sure that Jesus would not have been embarrassed by it is fairly OK. Use the Bible and the guide of the Holy Spirit as your guide. Blessings

Any so called entertainment that clearly promotes or glorifies the works of the flesh. (Galatians 5:19-21) This includes obscene, violent or immoral movies, television shows, music, stage plays, books, games or sporting events.
It is also improper for a Christian to be entertained by or find pleasure in anything that God hates.(Psalm 97:10)
It has become very challenging to find entertainment that does not violate ones Christian conscious.

I don't think we can say for sure what is "improper" for all believers, because it is a diverse group. As long as we keep our minds open and use our critical thinking skills (if we have them) we should be fine no matter what entertainment we engage in.

I know God will convict our hearts for change if we are spending too much time doing anything that is not pleasing to Him. He will deal with each of us individually through the Holy Spirit in HIS time. For example, I used to LOVE to read Stephen King novels before I was saved, but afterwards when I tried to read one, I thought "Wow. Has he ALWAYS used foul language / explicit sexual content like this?" I just can't read his books anymore. Thank God for Frank Paretti! His stories are just as good, but without all of the sex and obscene language!

I have no desire to watch anything with explicit sex or with vulgar language. Porn is absolutely unacceptable - it IS adultery, according to Matthew 5:28.

Bottom line, Christianity is not a trip to the altar; it is a LIFESTYLE and if you've spent most of your life living for yourself, it can take awhile to learn how to live for God. It's not for me to judge others, because only God knows their hearts.

A very interesting question. Going to bars, nightclubs, casinos, watching sexually explicit movies, pornography of any kind, some forms of rock n roll, some country music, I think movies with violence is bad, I think much of what you see on TV is bad also.

Anything that is not according to God's word. We as christians can watch shows and comedy but stay away from things that put people down and use profane language. There are alot of Christian movies and tv stations even on satalite.

The Bible is clear on what sin is and what it isnt, if one is genuinly looking for truth. It is there. GOd lists what is sin and does not tiptoe around the truth. He is presenting the truth in love, because He loves us so much, but He is bold. HE calls sin sin, and said to have NO part of it, turn from it, repent and follow only the teachings of JEsus Chrsit.
So to know what is right or wrong in any area, including entertainment. we simply go to Gods Holy book, the Bible, which is His love letter to us, and we do only what He says to do and we dont do anything He says is sin. For example God tells us violence is sin, so we dont have any part of violence, including violent movies , violent magazine, music glorifying violence, etc. What does God say about looking upon another person naked that you arent married to? It is sin just to look. Therefore we can have no part of anything where there is viewing of other ppl with no clothes on, or having sex. Once you familiarize yourself with Gods word, then you know what is right and what is wrong to God. SOme ppl think Christians have no fun, but this is because they dont know God or His plan. Our minds have been so full of all the stuff in the world today, that ppl can live in sodom and gommoreh all over again and see nothing wrong with it. We are to think on pure things, things of God. God says not to think on inpure things, so its not a huge leap to figure out what we can and cant do to please God. Just pray, get to know the word of God, and its all just there. and oh Yes, we Christians have fun. Just dont have to have filth part of it to enjoy. When one needs filth, its because they dont yet know the Lord JEsus Christ. Once you let Him in, you have only His thoughts and desires, and the desires of the world without God are nothing to you, but vile. Not hard to say No to sin once you have the heart of Jesus Chrsit. Till then, can be a pretty rough battle for those without the Lord to say No to sin. To be saved, we must not only love Jesus and know Him, we must love Him enough to obey Him, live like Hiim, think like Him, be like Him, and go tell the world about Him. Then, we are true Christians. Anything else is just wearing the Christian label. Even the devil knows and believes, and he will not be saved. Jesus saves, Jesus heals and Jesus delivers, and He is so quick to forgive. Just ask, turn from sin and know you are headed in the right direction of blessings of overflow. Obedience leads to blessing and disobedience leads to curse. THat theme is thruought the Bible and it has NOT changed.
So much fun things to do when you know the Lord. swimming, mountain climbing, so many things, too numerous to mention. Even study the Bible and praying are a great deal of fun when you know Jesus Chrsit.
Find out His plan for you, and ask Him to help you get there and He will. PRess on
