Re ALIBONGO.........In the absence pf any sort of disability which would prevent you from earning a living, i suggest you get your *** of the couch and go earn a living ...there are hundreds of thousands qualified Asylum seekers who would cherish the right to work to earn a living.,you dont make up for laziness by doing some voluntary work

If you are under 25 and on the dole for more than a year you should have to do National Service.

I think anyone should be kicked out of UK if they refuse to work. Being unable to work is a different issue, but refusing to contribute to a country but taking everything they can from it without giving in return is wrong. The Government needs to get touch on this one, too many people are getting paid, and in some cases a lot more than those who work hard, for doing absolutely nothing and these are always the ones who complain they are not getting enough.

No not really. You only need to have a look at statistics in the USA as will notice,not only do many Americans fall below a certain poverty level and if an American wishes to work in USA they should have a proper address as you must have a proper address to secure a job and as well to find a proper place to live,you need a job. Thus you will see many many homeless afmilies in the USA. What statistics can anyone come up with as to why a Brit should be thrown out of their own country? Perhaps for the same reasons Americans

Being without enough $ or £ to live on can and will leave Americans and English just as poor and homeless and then Im quite sure somewhere someone is pointing the finger at the Brits are indigenous ....I dont believe most do not want to work,I do however believe Like anyone, the British would care for a proper amount of money to pay their bills....IF THE £ would be enough to pay bills,live as well as looking after family.Good God what I would do to get kicked out of America the horrid country.!!!! I would help my forefathers country with money before I attempt to give it to America. .....Quite sorry as I see it. I do see struggle where my forefathers lived and I do not see it in America that often anymore.

So,yes do get me kicked out of America.....I have since given up voting as Bush was a terrible person to be making proper decisions.

Anyone who refuses to work, and yet claims benefits (unless, of course, they have a reason, like no arms or something) should have all their benefits taken away. At the end of the day why should the working majority have to pay for those who are too lazy to get off their backsides?

I know (unfortunately) a woman on benefits who 'works' about ten hours a week at a supermarket. There is nothing to stop her working more - after all, ten hours is what most people do in a day, not a week. People like that are doing nothing for the economy, and nothing socially for us (except having lots of kids who go on to claim benefits), and as these children are treated better than those from working families (because schools etc. are scared of being accused of discrimination), they get everything.

If they no longer had free housing, free music lessons for their kids, free school trips for their kids (two things most working parents can't even afford, so why should we pay £1800 for someone who doesn't work to send thier kid to america for a week?) they would soon get off their lazy backsides and get a job.

People that choose not to work because they are idle should have all forms of benefit, housing and free medical care taken away from them until they start paying tax. This should be all people that live in this country not just the indigenous Brits but from experience it would probably include a large number of them.

can i just say im a single mother on income support but like many not through choice and like alot of other single mothers im currently training so when my 2 kids start school i can get a decent job and give my kids a better life and quite frankly i think stay at home mums are not given the credit they deserve think about it a full time mum does a full time job 24 hours a day 7 days a week and why should we hand our kids over to be brought up by someone else i like being there when they are ill so i can give them a hug and when that look of understanding crosses their face when they just put 2 n 2 together and made 4 but most of all when they say i love you and you know your job is worth something and quite frankly most of us wouldnt be single mums if dad was still around so yeah until my kids go to school i refuse to work but when i go back to work it will be a job i can fit round my kids if you dont like it tough but to me some jobs are more important than others

kit fang get your info straight we get treated better than working class? when and where? free music lesson i dont think so and schools dont discriminate? how about taking that silver spoon out of your mouth and take a walk in our lives not everyone on benefits want to be there but im not coming off benefits and watching my kids go hungry i worked before i had kids and i'll work again when my kids are in school but in the mean time im taking back some of what i paid

Not exactly the best idea, they need to be put in a position where they have to work, e.g get rid of their benefits. Lets stop saying that we need eastern europeans to do the work that the brits dont want to do.

its a disgrace that these people can constantly appear on Jeremy Kyle and Trisha type shows instead of getting off their arses and going to work. They should be made to be ashamed but wear their constant unemployment like a badge of honour. . who can blame them?
The welfare system should be PROPERLY means tested. if you can walk and talk then bloody well work!

Where would they be shipped to? Getting a bit peed of with the spongers myself,i was paying my last £30 into the bank yesterday for my council tax and one of the unworking was in there getting their jobseekers and bragging they were going to buy a pair of nike air cos they were getting blisters of the old ones!
