found something which looks exactly like the flesh of the pomelo fruit in his poop.. i din't feed him any pomelo, what could dat be, is it caused by some kinda parasite in his stomach? he's a yr old, n feeds on candidae dry food, i also feed him cooked fish n vege.. n he used to eat his own poop last time..

probably isnt pomelo since you didnt feed him it...and just because it looks like pomelo doesnt mean it is..

if you have pomelo in your house then that might be it...

but take a sample to your vet and he(she) will figure it out

I have no idea what the flesh of a pomelo fruit looks like, but dogs should always be thoroughly dewormed so that parasites can be ruled out. It's not wise to wait until there is something weird in the faeces before worming - prevention is better than cure.

Problems with the intestines can also cause mucousy or fatty stools, or digested or undigested blood. Partially digested foreign bodies can also show up as strange things in the poo - if you're lucky enough that it has been passed. I would take a faecal sample to a vet. It may be something he's eaten or it may not.

When in doubt, call a Vet. Take the stool sample in with you.

I'd take a stool sample to the vet... better safe than sorry
