i've already looked at my shelter and they only have big dogs. Does anyone know any sites? ( I live in Utah)

petfinder.com. If you've already looked and there are none available, then there are no cheap chuhuahuas because the only ones left would be via breeders.

Try surrounding cities' shelters. Also you can check out these sites: www.petfinder.com, www.1-800-save-a-pet.com, and www.pets911.com. I think the first 2 are a little more helpful. Petfinder has a really useful little search engine and classified ads, but I thought that 1800saveapet had more information sometimes (same dog would be posted on both sites, but more info on the latter site). I passed by Utah the other day. Really cool place!
Anyways, the cheap Chi's are usually from puppymills or bad breeders! You'll have to get an expensive and healthy purebred with papers!
Otherwise, you can go to Swap Meets or Flee Markets because they usually have them for about $100 or less.
Terrier and Chi mixes are actually cheaper.

check petfinder.com there u can look in shelters all over utah if u r willing to drive there and get the dog. just type in ur zipcode and start looking im sure u will find some. also u can type in the breed u want here is a link for u

petfinder.com is shelter dogs that go by your area also
just enter your zip code at both sites

Chihuahua's are usually rather expensive no matter where you go . It's best to get one while it's puppy so it's use to you since they generally stick to their owner . I have a toy chihuahua and he was $1200. Good Luck though=D

Is there a "kill" shelter in the city where you live in Utah? The kill shelter is where pups go that do not get adopted and they are KILLED!

All are from shelters, rescues, and breeders so you are sure to locate one near your home!

check other shelters, no breeder will sell a dog "cheap." not to mention once you brig it home it will need its shots and dewormings which are not cheap at all.
