Last night I had a dream about someone I just met like 3 weeks ago and I liked them. (real life)
What happened in my dream was my uncle was viviting us and the guy I liked was with him. I don't remember how long he stayed but on the last day the guy I liked was leaving and I was being shy and just walked by him with my head down. He said to come over to him, so I did. Then he gave me a hug, (weird huh)? It lasted a really really long time, and I think I realized he liked me just as much as I liked him. What correlation could this have in real life? I wasn't even thinking about him before I fell asleep.

Dreams are typically the way your subconscious processes thoughts and emotions you're having that you don't deal with during your conscious times. Obviously you have some things that you need to deal with either emotionally or mentally regarding this guy.
My advice is to figure out what he means to you, and let him know, and figure out one way or the other what is going to be done. You're wasting precious time that you're never going to get back.

Dreams use the scribble pad of the days and weeks to make a mish-mash of your visuals, impressions and often wish fulfillments. Yours is typical. Actual scenarios, actual characters and a likely outcome if followed through. Dreams are only your subconscious sketches and contain only what you have consciously and unconsciously loaded. Interestingly, you can see where the images have derived from if you take a dream to pieces in the morning. Equally, you can also see how the mind has developed or modified themes and ideas. Well dreams mean something to peoples everyday life and it can predict future happenings. It probably means that he is also interested in you and likes you too. so go for it and see if he likes you back!

Recount your dream again to yourself, then think quickly what first idea from real life comes into your head.

... the only correlation is that you like this guy. it's not a prediction. or a 'prophetic dream'. you like him, and you hope that he likes you too. So that wish/desire came out in this particular dream. thats all there is to it.

i don't know if you're meant to be together but maybe it just means you're be very good friends. maybe it means that if he does something wrong (as long as it doesn't endanger you or himself) you should still love him as a friend.
