You can play anything on an acoustic guitar that you can on an electric guitar. It doesn't matter what kind of guitar it is played on, a riff is a riff.

Anything played on the electric guitar--except for playing in the 15th frets and upward--can be played on an acoustic--riffs, turnarounds, bends, slides, introductions, and finales.

Usually acoustic players must resort to harmonics when deriving the higher end of the fretboard.

yes.
you can almost play anything on an acoustic guitar. It will be harder because the strings are thicker, but you definitely can.
