He went out of town for a business golf tournament. Was out most of the night, had his phone on silent and did not return my text. I went to bed in tears. The next day his phone had "died" and I heard from him on his way to the airport. That was 6 weeks ago. I found out since then that he has been talking and texting a female that lives in the town the tournament was in that he also works with. He has never mentioned this woman to me. They were communicating daily. She is engaged. He said there is nothing going on so he did not tell me because there was nothing to tell. I have to trust him. I do have to trust him. I have male friends. He knows about or has met them. I do not speak to any of them on a daily basis. I am trying to make him understand if the tables were turned that he too would be suspicious and not like the situation. He also had taken a female coworker to his house a while back and failed to mention that as well. (until I asked.) Any thoughts or feedback?

He definitely is hiding things. If he thought that there was nothing going on to tell about, he should've told you about her to let you know. If a guy doesn't tell, he's hiding something especially with the "There's nothing going on so I didn't need to tell you" excuse. By telling you of these women, he is assuring your trust in him and that there is nothing going on. Move on from this lying bum.

You have every right to be suspicious because of his actions. The phone on silent and then going dead is a complete coverup. Don't ignore the red flags. I have done this several times, and it tears you up inside. You need to be strong and follow your heart. You know deep down inside that something is wrong. Trust is one thing, but blind trust is hard to have when your partner is being sneaky. The best thing I could advise would be this: Trust, but verify. In other words, trust him, but check to make sure what he is saying is true. When his words and actions mesh, it will be easier to trust him in the future. But if you are finding out that what he says and what he does aren't matching, it is time for you to be strong and have your own self-respect and move on. If you let him play you, he will continue to do so, and you will be even more hurt when he does cheat on you. He needs to know that you feel insecure when he is on these trips, and take measures to reassure you by giving you a quick call or making sure he answers your text. He needs to respect your feelings.

If this keeps going on i would sit him down and talk.
Doesnt sound very good. But there are trustful guys out there so dont give up just yet.

if he doesnt respect the fact that you are upset and this then theres a problem.
if he seems upset because you are, no worries.
distant=problem
not caring about how you feel=problem

doesnt mean he's cheating. i get sick of girls always saying ALL men are cheats .. ALL men with girls as friend are cheats .. not true ... deff. not true!

start going out .. see how he reacts. dont answer your phone .. go out and have fun....

"doesnt feel so good does it"

if this has happened a lot i would say set him free ... but if it hasnt dont give up!!

You know what's going on. A lot of us have gone through the same thing. I suggest that you start planning what you want to do for you and begin to make it happen. It's not revenge or spite or anything like that. Ultamately you have to live with you so do what makes you happy. He is.

It's not always easy but when you look back you'll be glad you did.

I had a girlfriend who used to say, "nothing to tell". It drove me up the wall. She was way cheating on me, constantly. She had a guy in town, a guy who used to fly out and meet her on her business trips, friend vacations, etc. I never found out the entire truth, it still burns me up to think about.
Get rid of this clown.

From what you say, it seems he's losing interest in you. If he had time to text the other girl he certainly had time to text or call you. I wouldn't trust him, and also, I'd start looking around for a better fish in the sea.

You see the signs, the blinking lights, the neon lights and the craters in the road and you are still proceeding to ask me questions as to whether or not you should keep driving down this road?

Lose him. You don't have to trust him. You should, but he is passing off some b.s. excuses and you don't have to trust what you already know are lies. Be loyal to yourself - and trust your gut.

if you are doing to trust him and remain in the relationship, they you must do exactly that. There cannot be any doubts on your part at all. If you're going to do this then do it for real sweetie!!!!! If you trust him and you want to be with him, then do it and do it for real. don't hold back, let him have 100.% of you at all times, even if you worry about certain things, you have to be honest with him at all times, PERIOD!!!!!

Good luck to both of you with this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YESSSSS!!!!! If he did not return text, or his phone died he is up to something. And he chooses not to mention women in his life then he is a weasel. You seem to have been open and honest about your male friends, but he chooses not to be open about his. Weasel, Weasel, Weasel!
