if christians still ask for forigivness and repetance, then what was the point of Jesus crucifiction?

when we say Jesus die for everyone sins we are putting the bad people, criminals, and good people in one equal line. let's not say things about God except with the truth. God all merciful all powerful he forgave before and will forgive after, no one need to die so God forgive people sins, everyone responsible for his deeds. heaven is not for free without real work and try your best to follow God words.

The point of Jesus' crucifixion was to pay for sins -- something that is impossible for humans to do by ourselves.

You have to ask for forgiveness for the same reason that you have to ask for anything else. As the Bible says, you have not, because you ask not.

Well, supposedly, Jesus died so that when you ask for forgiveness, God will give it to you. Otherwise, God would just have to say, "No! You aren't forgiven! Go to hell you sinning bastard!"

Apparently, God is powerless to forgive sins unless some blood gets splashed around. It seems that, even if God wanted to, some inexplicable force would prevent him from forgiving people unless someone performs some blood-magic that allows him to do it.

Its interesting that God is constrained by such a strange rule when he supposedly is omnipotent. I wonder who is forcing him to obey this rule? Some people seem to think that he is forcing himself to obey it. But, of course, doing something like that would really just mean he is playing some sort of ridiculous, meaningless game.

Of course, it could be that God is actually some sort of vampire or some other sort of blood-powered thing. That would explain why he would be powerless to do stuff without all the blood.

nicely, If Jesus wasn't crucified it would basically be because of the fact God the father had a distinctive plan for the Salvation of His people. except you go with to circulate with the thought he lived longer formerly he grew to become into crucified so as that he taught greater and had greater studies with the folk. the element is, in case you have been to circulate with a hypothetical that he wasn't crucified, it does not basically thoroughly throw out alot of the hot testomony, even though it would thoroughly injury a great form of the previous testomony, esspecially each Prophets writings, the two the foremost and the minor Prophets. that may no longer an uncomplicated project you have there. If there's no salvation then we've no ability to income forgiveness via repentance which potential each physique people could be in charge for each sin we dedicate. circulate with the aid of your day and be particularly basic and write down every time you sin. you will discover which you sin twenty situations formerly lunch, have self belief me. We sin without even thinking, yet to do magnificent takes fore-concept. we would be in massive worry, and that i mean every person. attempt it for an afternoon and see the way you do.

Befor the Cross and the crucifiction, there was no chance for any man to go to heaven. Every man would have died a sinner. After the fall of Adam and Eve sin entered into the world, thus giving all men the sin nature, with no means of redemption for their souls. Only a sinless man could be the sacrifice, and die for the sins of all men, thus giving them the chance to be redeamed. There were no sinless man alive, because everyone born was born with the sin nature. That is why God, becoming man through the virgin birth was born without sin. Having no sin nature. So God gave himself, ( a son) to be the sinless sacrifice (Jesus Christ) to attone for mans sins. So yes he died for all men, and giving us all the chance to be forgiven for sin and live eternally in the Kingdom. He would never force man to believe or to be redeamed, man having free will to make there own choice for their salvation. And yes everyone can be forgiven for their sins, even the worst criminals out there. But one can't just ask, there has to be a change of ones heart, they have to really believe in God, and the Cross of Christ, and make a choice to follow God and make him the Lord of their life. God see's sin, in the same light. Sin is Sin. and all sin can be forgiven with the exception of the one.

Just as the people in the Old Testament had to offer sacrifices to God to receive forgiveness, Jesus died on the cross as the sacrifice for our sins.

Through this sacrifice, we have the ability to ask for forgiveness.

It is by baptism that are sins are washed away, but we can fall from grace even after baptism.

“Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost” (Acts 2:38)

Notice the word "for". Baptism is FOR the remission of sins, in other words, we are NOT saved prior to baptism. Baptism is what provides the salvation.

"The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:" 1 Peter 3:21

“You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace.” Galatians 5:4

Forgiveness and salvation doesn't come automatically. You have to make a choice to accept Jesus as your personal savior, acknowledging Him as the son of God. God will forgive you if you are sincere in regretting the sins and want to change.

Forgiveness is a two way street; Jesus did his part by dying on the cross for our sins. We may or may not accept that 'forgiveness' in this life; just as someone can buy us a gift; put it out there for us to take it; but it is still up to us to accept it.

everyone's on an equal plain. Jesus died so some Baal worshipper could say "forget Baal, sorry Yahweh" and be forgiven, rather than just being sent to Hell. No man comes unto the father unless the Spirit calls him. the Spirit was only designated to call Israelites at the time, and anyone else who wanted to serve God would die in hope. (zecharaiah 9, they were released)

Read John 3:16.

Has not God Himself said in His word, that after Jesus died, we cannot work our way to Heaven? However, Faith Without Works is Dead. Read the New Testament. It might help.

God bless.

Because God has declared that the penalty for sin is DEATH. How can we be forgiven without someone suffering the penalty? That's what Jesus did -- He took the penalty that you and I deserved because we're all sinners.
